Bowling Green, Kentucky-based aftermarket supplier Holley Performance has unveiled its new Lo-Ram LS intake manifold product line, which was designed specifically for Gen III and Gen IV General Motors LS V8 engines equipped with a turbocharged or supercharged forced induction setup.
Holley says these new LS intake manifolds have a compact design with low height to aid in the packaging of a plenum mounted air-to-water intercooler in a top-feed configuration. Designed for forced induction LS engines, the manifolds can increase engine output at high RPM (usually between 7,000 rpm and 8,000 rpm, depending on the application) and are also offered with dual fuel injectors for ultra-high horsepower builds.
“Available in front feed and top feed, Holley Lo-Ram manifolds are packed with power-ready features such as high volume fuel rails, 105mm throttle body compatibility and an advanced contoured casting,” the company says. “If extreme power is your goal, the Lo Ram is also available with dual fuel injectors for ultra-high boost and e85 or alcohol-fueled vehicles. It can even be had with provisions for an SFI Burst plate.
“With plenty of options available, Holley’s Lo-Ram intake is perfect for your LS engine.”
These new Holley Lo-Ram LS intake manifolds are available for a wide range of GM LS V8 engines with cathedral ports style cylinder heads, including the LS1, LS2 and LS6. The fuel rail kits also come with two sets of brackets: a set for long standard length fuel injectors and a set for short injectors (i.e LS7 style). The Lo Ram intakes come with a 90-day limited warranty, which protects against defects in material and workmanship.
