The Chevrolet Corvette has undergone some pretty radical changes over the years, with the latest mid-engine eighth-gen model introducing arguably the biggest changes of them all. However, with a few imaginative brush strokes, even the iconic C2 Corvette can be transformed from a classic sports car to a futuristic performance machine, as evidenced by the following rendering.
Coming to us from London-based automotive artist Al Yasid Oozear, this C2 Corvette rendering was recently posted to the artist’s Instagram feed (@yasiddesign), showing off an impressive widebody treatment for the beloved Chevrolet nameplate.
Up front, we find the C2 Corvette’s long, low, wide hoodline, complete with the classic Stinger hood design. However, this Vette now sits even lower to the ground, stretched across the pavement with some rather sizable fender flares that add inches of extra girth through sharply chiseled lines.
We also find the front end boasting new LED lighting signatures just underneath the pop-up headlamps, as well as a new grille treatment with broad horizontal slats that add even more visual girth.
Viewed from the side, we find the corners of this custom C2 Corvette rocking a set of deep-dish wheels, which are wrapped in low-profile tires that neatly tuck under the flared fenders. Exhaust pipes exit just behind the front wheels, while the fender flares continue into the rear deck lid with broad, flat wing shapes above the rear bumper.
Speaking of the tail, this C2 Corvette also features a vented rear window replacement, while the pointed sheet metal nicely bookends the cabin space with the extended hood line. The tail lamps are fitted with new LED lighting elements, while behind the rear vents, we see an extensive roll cage painted in orange to match the body panels.
While the purists will no doubt scoff at this widebody C2 Corvette rendering, the futuristic look is undeniably eye-catching and aggressive. Check it out in the full post below:

Cyberpunk 2077 asked for their car back.

I think Biden did this in his basement a few months ago, but then again something tell me
he doesn’t know how to use a computer anymore.
This doesn’t look too bad, the sharp corners for this particular body style would have to go and it could be raised up off the ground by an inch or two.
Why do most vehicle renderings look so unrealistic, impractical and impossible to relate to a real road going car
I actually like the front half, but the back half looks unresolved, like he ran out of time.
