A new package has become available for the 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 pickup truck in the AT4 trim level. Called the AT4 Value Package, it consists of the following:
- AT4 Preferred Package (RPO code PDO)
- Universal Home Remote (UG1)
- Rear sliding power window (A48)
- 8-inch diagonal Premium GMC Infotainment with navigation (IOT)
- Bose Premium Audio system (UQA)
- Wireless charging (K4C)
- Driver Alert Package I (PQB)
- Front and rear Park Assist (UD5)
- Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert (UKC)
- Rear Cross Traffic Alert (UFG)
- LT275/65R18C MT Blackwall Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires (R30)
Buyers can also upgrade from the GMC Sierra 1500 AT4’s standard 18-inch wheels to 20-inch machined aluminum rims with Carbon Gray Metallic accents (NZH). These can be fitted with 275/60R20SL all-terrain blackwall tires (QAE) or LT265/60R20 MT blackwall Goodyear Wrangler Territory tires (QFV).
On its own, the AT4 Value Package for the GMC Sierra 1500 is priced at $2,605, but with 20-inch wheels, the price climbs to $3,405 with all-terrain tires or $3,700 with the Goodyear Wrangler Territory tires.
People familiar with GMC Sierra 1500 pricing will be aware that the AT4 Preferred Package costs $1,420, the Driver Alert Package I costs $890, the Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires cost $295, the 20-inch machined aluminum wheels cost $800, the all-terrain tires are a free upgrade and the Goodyear Wrangler Territory tires cost $295. The price of the whole package is therefore exactly equal to the sum of its parts, if those parts were ordered individually.
However, by putting them all into the AT4 Value Package, GMC has made it easier for dealers to order the GMC Sierra 1500 with all those parts fitted – an important consideration, since these are among the truck’s most popular optional features among customers.
Furthermore, as of this writing, the AT4 Value Package is being offered at a $500 discount. As long as that discount is valid, customers will be able to save money by ordering the package after all.
Regular price | Discounted Price | |
---|---|---|
AT4 Value Package with standard wheels/tires | $2,605 | $2,105 |
With 20-inch wheels and all-terrain tires | $3,405 | $2,905 |
With 20-inch wheels and Wrangler Territory tires | $3,700 | $3,200 |
It should be noted that the AT4 Value Package is not available with the AT4 Premium package (PDG), or with any assist steps.

Where’s the HUD option?
that little porthole of a rear window is pointless on a 4dr truck
When AC was not very common and most trucks were standard cab, a rear sliding window was very desirable. You were able to open it from the front and only seat. With four doors and air conditioning in every truck it’s almost useless. Some might use it for long pipes or boards to haul around.
Do you have a better way for rear seat passengers supposed to grab beers from the cooler in the bed while in motion?
