Given Chevrolet’s Multi-Flex Tailgate is offered on a broad range of full-size Chevrolet Silverado configurations, our pricing breakdown outlines the equipment required to option in the feature, as well as how much the feature itself costs, providing a total cost to equip the Multi-Flex tailgate on each Chevy Silverado 1500 configuration in which it is offered.

Looking over the table, we find that the cost of adding Chevrolet’s Multi-Flex Tailgate is at its lowest when added to LTZ and High Country trim levels, padding the bottom line by just $260. Meanwhile, the cost of adding Chevrolet’s Multi-Flex tailgate is at its highest when added to WT Double Cab and Crew Cab models with the turbocharged 2.7L I4 L3B gas engine, costing a total of $2,710 when including all required equipment.
Chevrolet’s Multi-Flex tailgate is identical to the MultiPro Tailgate offered by the GMC Sierra, and can be configured in six different positions to provide unique functionality. These include the traditional primary gate functionality, a primary gate load stop, a foldable inner gate for easier access to the bed, a full-width step-up, an inner gate load stop, and an inner gate work surface as well.
