2021 Chevrolet Blazer Gets New Cherry Red Tintcoat Color: First Look

The 2021 Chevrolet Blazer features various minor changes and updates, such as a “new” standard engine for the Premier trim level – the turbo 2.0L LSY four-cylinder engine – the addition of the latest safety technology with Chevy Safety Assist, and it’s also expanded its color palette with the addition of four new exterior hues: Pewter Metallic, Iron Gray, Cherry Red Tintcoat, and Cayenne Orange. Here’s our first look at the new red hue.

Overview

Assigned color code GSK and touch-up paint code WA-252F, Cherry Red Tintcoat is one of three warm hues (along with Red Hot and Cayenne Orange) available for the 2021 Chevrolet Blazer. It’s also the one and only tintcoat option available for the Chevy Camaro-inspired crossover.

Pricing

The new Cherry Red Tintcoat color is not included in the base price of the 2021 Blazer, and costs an additional $495.

Availability

The new red hue is not offered on the base L trim level, but can be matched with any of the interior color combinations.

2021 Chevrolet Blazer Trim Levels:

  • L
  • LT

    1. I think they have gotten away from many of the chrome wheels due to warranty issues.

The GMC dealer I deal with still has chrome wheel issues.

I have had several sets and all were warranties but for one set. My Terrain had chrome caps on the wheel made of planting bonded to an aluminum wheel. They used them on the 19” package. They did hold up well and no one knew they were plastic to look at them.

I wouldn’t buy that foreign vehicle if it was played in gold.
