For the latest installment in the GM Authority Pop GM series, we’re taking a look at the official music video for Popp Hunna’s “Adderall (Corvette Corvette) Remix.” As you might have guessed, the video features Chevy’s iconic sports car, with multiple examples of the all-new Chevy Corvette C8 seen throughout the video. However, in addition to the C8, the video also features the previous-generation Corvette C7, plus guest appearances by the Chevy Suburban and Chevy Silverado.
Popp Hunna dropped his new single back in October, and since then, “Adderall (Corvette Corvette)” has racked up tens of millions of streams on services like TikTok and Spotify. The song gained even more momentum after Sasha Obama posted a viral TikTok video that showed the former first daughter dancing to the music with friends.
“Adderall (Corvette Corvette)” follows Popp Hunna’s hit release “I’m Single,” which debuted in 2019. Hailing from North Philadelphia, Popp Hunna collaborated with fellow Philly-area artist Lil Uzi Vert on the “Adderall” remix, releasing a new music video featuring both artists earlier this month. What’s more, the music video shows off a fleet of new Chevy Corvette C8’s, with a variety of colors and exterior customization options on display. Joining the C8’s are several seventh-generation Chevy Corvettes parked alongside the C8s.
Naturally, the lyrics match the title, with the opening line referencing the Bow Tie sports car and hyping the car’s exciting driving experience. As a reminder, the Chevy Corvette C8 is powered by the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 LT2 engine, which produces 495 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque when equipped with the optional factory exhaust system
Leading the pack of Chevy Corvettes is a black Mercedes-Maybach S-Class sedan, which stands in opposition to the high-strung, brightly colored Corvettes rolling behind the German luxury cruiser.
