Chevy customers looking to spice things up with their new vehicle purchase have a wide variety of options to choose from, with nearly all 2021 model year Bow Tie brand products out there offered with some kind of special edition package or trim level. Now, GM Authority is rounding up every Chevrolet special edition package and trim level currently on the market with the following availability analysis, breaking it all down by nameplate.
2021 Chevrolet Traverse Midnight Edition
One of the most popular Chevrolet special edition packages is the Midnight Edition. Offered on no less than eight 2021 model year Chevy’s, the Midnight Edition stays true to its namesake with a host of dark aesthetic enhancements, including things like black wheels, a black grille, and black trim, all of which is matched to black paint for a cohesive color treatment.
2021 Chevrolet Traverse Sport Edition
The Sport Edition package is also quite popular, offered on six Chevy models. Like the Midnight Edition package, the Sport Edition package adds in a host of dark aesthetic enhancements, including black wheels, black trim, and a black grille. However, unlike the Midnight Edition, the Sport Edition is also available in conjunction with several exterior paint colors other than black.
Chevrolet Blazer Redline Edition
The Redline Edition is the second-most popular Chevrolet special edition package, offered on seven Chevy models for the 2021 model year. Matching black wheels, black nameplates, black badging, and a black grille with distinct red hash marks and other red bits and pieces, the Redline Edition adds some extra performance flavor to the mix.
2020 Chevrolet Silverado Rally Edition
Up next is the Rally Edition, which is currently only offered on the 2021 Silverado 1500, equipping the pickup with black badging and tailgate lettering, new wheels, rally stripes, and black chrome exhaust tips, among other features depending on the trim level selected.
2021 Chevrolet Camaro 2LT with RS Package
Then we have the RS Package, which is currently only offered on the 2021 Chevy Camaro, and includes new wheels, signature LED lighting, dark-tint tail lamps, black badging, and a unique grille.
2021 Chevy Trailblazer RS
Notably, the RS Package is different from the RS trim level, the latter of which is offered as a Chevy special edition trim on four different models and includes a swath of aggressive, performance-flavored upgrades depending on the model selected.
2021 Chevrolet Tahoe RST
Finally, there’s the RST trim level, which is offered on three models, specifically the Silverado, Suburban, and Tahoe, giving each vehicle an extra dose of street-centric performance style.

They should make an edition that’s reliable.
Probably not something they can offer in the Traverse or Colorado though. But Ford will never be able to copy it!
