There’s no question that the Chevy Silverado 1500 looks great as an off-roader, but with the right upgrades, it’ll also play the part of a street-fighting performance truck, as evidenced by the modified example seen here.
Recently posted online to the Vossen Intagram feed, this particular Chevy Silverado 1500 rocks a set of new Vossen HF6-3 rollers, finished in a custom Gloss Gold finish to offset the dark blue paint in dramatic fashion. Designed specifically for SUVs and truck applications, the Vossen HF6-3 wheels are produced using the company’s proven Hybrid Forged construction process, and present in a technical-looking multi-spoke design that plays well with the Silverado’s angular body panels.
The Vossen HF6-3 wheel series is offered in five standard colors and seven custom colors, with sizing including 20 inches in diameter, 22 inches in diameter, and 24 inches in diameter. The Gloss Gold wheels on this particular Chevy Silverado are sized at 24 inches in diameter by 10 inches in width.
Complementing the look is a body kit from Air Design, which upgrades the exterior with a new front chin air curtain and front spoiler. The lower fascia now sports additional lines that bring the Chevy Silverado a bit closer to the ground, while a set of side small side air winglets give the truck a performance-focused aesthetic.
Up top, the Air Design hood scoop adds more aggression to the front end, while the rear end finishes it all off with a new tailgate spoiler and a new tailgate applique.
With a new, more aggressive front end and tail section, this Chevy Silverado looks ready to prowl the pavement. Throw in a little something extra under the hood, and this machine could make for quite the street fighter. Check it out in the social media post featured here, which places the pickup against an airport backdrop.

That must be a rear flip-kit cause it must 6″ lower than stock ? Looks good.
Yep, the drop looks good with a slight rake, not that butt drop like everyone is now doing.
What’s with the vossen wheel plugs all the time? Could you show off some air vent stickers from O’Reillys?
Those wheels look soooo obsolete like as in 1979 Trans Am wheels. Should come up with something better than those.
Tired of painted and black wheels. We were custom painting wheels back in the 80s long before it was a thing. And painting factory steelies in the 50s with most done in black for the intimidation factor when you had a hot rod. Get back to shiny clean looking wheels.
While the wheels themselves look well made and finished, the style itself should be relegated to the many (way too overdone) Camaro’s-turned-into Firebird’s/Trans-Am’s.
That style of wheel has no business on a truck.
The color is not my taste either, but like the style, it is a matter of taste. (or lack thereof)
The truck itself looks great – minus the tacky hood “scoop” and the aforementioned wheels.
Wow lots of hate here. I think it looks great, not what I would do but none the less it looks clean, mean and a little classy.
Awesome Sport truck! Not every truck has to be sky high on ugly bulky rims & tires. Low and sporty is the way to go if you’re not chasing cattle.
