Chevrolet Employee Discount For Everyone Sales Event Kicks Off In December

With Thanksgiving now behind us, General Motors is looking to capitalize on the rapidly approaching holiday shopping season with its Chevrolet Employee Discount For Everyone sales event, which will be held throughout the month of December.

During the Chevrolet Employee Discount For Everyone sales event, customers will pay the same discounted price for select Chevy vehicles that GM employees do. The price discount varies from vehicle to vehicle, although heavy discounts are being offered on certain trims of almost all new Chevy models except the all-new 2021 Chevy Tahoe and 2021 Chevy Suburban full-size SUVs.

Among the vehicles that are included in the Chevrolet Employee Discount For Everyone sales event are the 2021 Colorado, 2020 Silverado 1500, 2020 Silverado 2500HD, 2020 Silverado 3500HD, 2020 Blazer and 2021 Trailblazer. Customers can even receive steep discounts on more specialized Chevy products like the Camaro and the Bolt EV hatchback as well.

While the 2021 model-year Tahoe and Suburban are not included in this promotion, it’s worth noting the outgoing 2020 model-year versions of the full-size SUVs are included in it.

This sales promotion will also give the customer some cash back for even more savings. For example, the Chevy Bolt EV is offered with a $2,833 Chevrolet Employee Discount For Everyone, along with another $6,250 cash allowance offer for a total savings of $9,133 over the original MSRP.

Certain vehicles are offered with a $1,000 option package discount as well, like the Silverado 1500 LT Z71 Crew Cab. With a $4,750 Chevrolet Employee Discount For Everyone, $2,750 cash allowance and $1,000 option package discount, customers can save a total of $8,465 on the popular full-size light-duty pickup truck during the month of December.

Chevy says these offers are not available with special financing, leases and some other offers and may only be available through select participating dealers. These discounts do not apply to fleet sales either. Customers who wish to capitalize on the savings must take delivery of their new vehicle before January 4th, 2021.

  1. What happened to Truck Month? Oh, I forgot, every month is Truck Month!

  2. Again no discounts for 2021 Tahoe or suburban

    1. Don’t feel bad. I don’t see any employee discounts on the 2021 Silverado 1500 either. Dealers down here are out of 2020 models.

  3. As an employee I find this disheartening. What’s the point of having an employee discount when they give it to everyone. I can say the employee discounts of today pale in comparison to those I remember back in the 80’s and 90’s.

  4. I already have my GM Family First Employee Discount Certificate. The Dealer ordered my Bison on October 15th with expected time of delivery being before Thanksgiving. However, my truck is held up at GTX Upfitters for a spray on bedliner and being delayed by 2-3 weeks (so I’ve been told). This means everyone gets the same discount and I lose the $2500 plus accessories discount for November. Merry Christmas!

  5. GM doesn’t take care of their employees and retirees. The “employee” discount isn’t very much and a couple times a year they give it to everyone. I worked for GM for 37 years before retiring. It would benefit GM greatly if they would at least earn the loyalty of employees and retirees. A lot of sales are lost to thieir competition which could be GM sales.

    1. I get that Employee discount is part of your benefits package but the thought might be it will increase sales and employees will benefit also from this. Just sayin.

      1. 30+ years ago the GM employee discount was DEEP! I could buy a vehicle using it and two years later trade it in and pretty much break even.

        1. Ok, and they almost went bankrupt in the 90s and 2000s. Connection?

GM “package deals” force you to pay for options you don’t want to get something you do want. Many sales are lost to competition because GM doesn’t care about what customers want . I am a retiree after 37 years with GM. Planned on buying a new Tahoe, but the packaging has me giving it a second thought, because I can’t get the vehicle like I want it.

  7. There is a math problem with the Bolt EV cashback: $2833 + $6250 = $9083 and not $9133

  8. Lost 2500 from the November price
Took that discount and gave it to

  9. I bought a 2021 Traverse LT Nov. 7th. There were incentives up to 27500.00 I was given only 1000.00 I found one myself from Costco and cyber incentive! No help from dealer! Drove my car 98 miles. It’s been in the service center since Nov. 10th! Cannot figure out what is wrong with it! When coming to a stop it makes a grinding noise! Happens intermittently. Now a month later still no answer!
