The GM Authority Take

The healthy increase in Chevrolet Argentina sales in November represented the second consecutive month of volume gains by the Bow Tie brand in the South American country, following a healthy 13 percent increase in October.

In fact, the performance means that Chevy outperformed the 33.6 percent increase that the Argentine automotive market experienced last month.

Once again, the products responsible for the solid Chevrolet Argentina sales performance in November were the Chevrolet Onix and Cruze – the brand’s two best-selling models in the country. Both vehicles posted significant, triple-digit year-over-year increases. The Onix reinforces its place as the best-selling Chevrolet model in Argentina, while the Cruze consolidates its position as the best-selling vehicle in the segment.

Also contributing to the positive performance were very healthy increases for the Tracker, S10 and Camaro, each of which recently received an update in the Argentine market. The 60 percent increase in sales of the Tracker marks four consecutive months of gains for the all-new model, making it Chevy’s third best-selling model in Argentina.
