Chevy has released a new Center Hood Jake Graphics Package for the C8 Corvette, giving owners the ability to add a bit of Corvette Racing-inspired flair to their mid-engine sports car for just a little more than their monthly grocery bill.
The Center Hood Jake Graphics Package includes a black Jake center hood stripe featuring the Corvette Racing script and two Stingray R decals for the sides of the vehicle. This is the same graphics package that was on the C8 Corvette IMSA pace car at Road America in the summer, otherwise known as the Stingray R package.
The decal kit also comes with templates that provide the recommended application locations for the decals for easier at-home installation.
The graphics package, which carries the RPO code SB7, costs $495.00 USD from the Chevrolet Accessories online store. It also comes with a 12,000 mile/12 month warranty, which protects against any potential defects with the decals. Chevy says the decals can also be removed with the use of a heat gun, although this would prevent the decal from future use.
The Center Hood Jake Graphics Package can also be ordered with the purchase of a new 2021 model year C8 Corvette. If the decal is ordered with the car from new, the dealership will install the decals prior to delivery to the customer. If the decals are ordered separately, they can be picked up at the dealership and installed by the dealer, or the customer can choose to install them at home.
The 2021 Corvette received some small updates, including two new exterior colors, although it retains its naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 LT2 engine and eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. Production of the mid-engine sports car takes place at the GM Bowling Green Assembly plant in Kentucky.

i’m usually disappointed in sticker packages but this one actually looks good.
Can you do a detailed story on 2021 racing stripes? In particular getting real photos and accurate description of all colors especially “edge” blue and red? Are they gloss or matte, solid or metallic? Chevy really leaves us guessing based on visualizer or build and price online photos and descriptions…
