2021 Silverado HD Carhartt Edition: First On-Road Pictures

Customers who want to add an extra layer of customization to their 2021 Silverado HD can do so with the Carhartt Edition, a special edition model that upgrades the heavy-duty Chevy with a long list of aesthetic enhancements. Now, we’re getting our first look at the 2021 Silverado HD Carhartt Edition out on real-world roads with the following photos.

The 2021 Silverado HD Carhartt Edition made its big debut in Las Vegas at SEMA in 2019, but this is the first time we’ve seen the special edition truck on the road in the “real world.”

Based on Silverado 2500HD LTZ Crew Cab models with the optional Z71 Off-Road Package, the 2021 Silverado HD Carhartt Edition was designed in partnership with Carhartt, a clothing company based out of Dearborn, Michigan that specializes in work apparel. Given Carhartt’s specialty in producing workwear, a partnership to offer a special edition 2021 Silverado HD was a natural fit, as GM Authority covered previously.

The 2021 Silverado HD Carhartt Edition is offered exclusively in Mosaic Black metallic paint, which is offset by unique Carhartt gold pinstripes. Further exterior upgrades include black badging  and moldings, painted sideview mirror caps and door handles, body-colored bumpers, and Carhartt badging on the doors and tailgate.

The special edition pickup also comes with 20-inch Grazen Metallic painted wheels, roof marker lamps, and a Chevytec spray-on bedliner.

Further upgrades can be found in the cabin, where the 2021 Silverado HD Carhartt Edition boasts new stitching and trim for the seat panels, embroidered headrests, and all-weather floor liners.

As GM Authority covered previously, the 2021 Silverado HD Carhartt Edition package is priced at $3,585, but with all the other requisite content added, the final price is actually $8,370 more than the standard Silverado 2500HD Crew Cab LTZ. Note that the 2021 Chevy Silverado HD Carhartt Special Edition is not offered in California due to regulations concerning roof marker lamps.

  1. Just like putting lipstick on a pig – it’s still butt-ugly.

  2. That’s one ugly front end ! Those huge square lights on the sides are killing it. I prefer the font end look on the Traverse, Blazer.
