2021 Chevrolet Blazer Gets New Cayenne Orange Color: First Look

The 2021 Chevrolet Blazer features various minor changes and updates, such as a “new” standard engine – the turbo 2.0L LSY four-cylinder engine, but also the addition of four new exterior colors: Pewter Metallic, Iron Gray, Cherry Red Tintcoat, and Cayenne Orange. Here’s our first look at the new orange hue.

Availability

Assigned color code GLL and touch-up paint code WA-324E, Cayenne Orange Metallic is one of three warm hues (along with Red Hot and Cherry Red Tintcoat) available for the 2021 Chevrolet Blazer. It’s also one of six metallic colors available for the Chevrolet crossover SUV.

The new Cayenne Orange Metallic color is not included in the base price of the 2021 Blazer, and costs an additional $395. In addition, the new orange hue is not offered on the base L model, but can be matched with all the interior color combinations.

  • Jet Black
  • Dark Galvanized with Light Galvanized
  • Jet Black with Maple Sugar

Launch Timeframe

As of this writing, 2021 Blazer units have already started to arrive at dealers, as the GM Ramos Arizpe plant, located in Coahuila, Mexico producing the vehicle for the past several weeks. Availability will vary by dealer, so check with yours for complete details.

  2. 2021 Blazer Premier Lighted Bow tie, is it suppose to wire to daytime running lights or headlights?

    1. All of the GM lighted bowties tie into the park lamps wiring. When you turn the headlight switch to “park” or “headlights” it will light up. If you leave the switch in AUTO, it will light up when the headlights come on.

  6. I wish GM would use better pictures (or lighting) when showing paint colors in official materials. They are nowhere near accurate to how they look in the real world.

  7. The combination of the orange and those ugly rims remind me too much of a Subaru Crosstrek. I would like to see the orange in person before making final judgement, but those rims are hideous.
