Customers in the Middle East will soon be able to get their hands on the 2021 Cadillac Escalade full-size luxury SUV. Cadillac Middle East has confirmed that pre-orders can be made either by phone or through the websites of Cadillac dealers in the region.
Middle Eastern versions of the 2021 Cadillac Escalade will be very similar to those offered in North America. The standard engine is the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine, which is rated at 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque and drives the rear wheels through the GM 10-speed automatic transmission. Four-wheel drive is available as an option, but the Duramax turbo-diesel 3.0L I6 LM2 offered in the U.S. was not mentioned in Cadillac’s announcement.
In line with the Y trim level strategy used for the Escalade and other Cadillacs in the U.S., the entry-level Escalade in the Middle East is the Luxury. After that, the “Y” splits into two branches, with Premium Luxury and Premium Luxury Platinum on one side, along with Sport and Sport Platinum on the other.
Magnetic Ride Control is standard throughout the range, as is a trailering package, though Cadillac has not confirmed if this is the same as the Heavy-Duty Trailering Package available on North American models.
Many options available to Middle Eastern 2021 Cadillac Escalade customers, such as Air Ride Adaptive Suspension and a 36-speaker AKG audio system, will be familiar to owners in the U.S. and Canada. However, the Super Cruise semi-autonomous driver assistance system is not among them, for the simple reason that it’s only compatible on highways in United States, Canada and China so far.
“We are delighted to launch the iconic 2021 Cadillac Escalade in our market of automotive connoisseurs,” head of sales at Cadillac Middle East, Omar Elkhishin, said in a statement. “With a stunning new design, impeccable refinement and thoughtful industry-leading technology, every journey in the new Escalade is a special occasion. The model also offers a variety of customization options, giving customers in the Middle East the opportunity to truly make their Escalade as unique as they are.”
Pricing for the 2021 Cadillac Escalade in the Middle East has yet to be confirmed.

No super cruise offered is Middle East is not much different than here! As far as I know, Cadillac is still not building SuperCruise EscLades!
Buyers will enjoyed the extra space and styling of the 2021 Cadillac Escalade and while super-cruise is not currently available, one can imagine it being a dealer installed upgrade within the next year.
