While the COVID-19 pandemic forced the organizers of the SEMA Show to cancel the annual automotive aftermarket convention this year, they went ahead and decided to hold an online version of the event called SEMA360. Many aftermarket parts and accessories companies have decided to sit out SEMA360 and focus on delivering something good at next year’s show instead, but not Westin Automotive Products, which is showing off a mean-looking 2020 Chevy Silverado HD build that it put together for the online event.
Westin Automotive Products’ Chevy Silverado HD features its steel Pro Mod rear bumper, Pro Mod front bumper, R5 XD side steps, blue Westin-branded vinyl graphics and a Superwinch S5500 trailer winch for loading and unloading off-road vehicles from a flatbed trailer.
The Westin Pro Mod front and rear bumpers, which are made of sturdy 10-gauge steel, give the 2020 Chevy Silverado HD more ground clearance, enhancing its off-road capability. The Pro Mod front bumper is also available with an optional front skid plate for additional bash protection when off-roading.
Meanwhile, the R5 side steps run the length of the crew cab and provide some additional rocker protection and easier cab access for passengers. The Superwinch S5500, which is not a Westin product, is 3.6-horsepower electric winch with a 5,500-pound maximum weight capacity.
This 2020 Chevy Silverado HD, which appears to be a Summit White 2500HD in LTZ trim, isn’t very heavily customized, but it’s still nice to see a brand participating in SEMA360 even though it may not have the same impact with consumers that the SEMA Show does each year.

Yeah it’s not super crazy but I like these SEMA builds best as it’s something realistic. A lot of car dealers carry Westin products so it’s something a guy could easily buy on his truck from the dealer. I have a set of their running boards on my truck, they’re nice enough. Just wish they actually made them in a wheel to wheel version for extended cab.
These new HDs look like an ’81 model Kodiak. And that’s not a good thing.
I’ve dealt with Westin set ups and they went from easy to work with and perfect fit to the complete opposite side of the spectrum, if you have a LTZ or HC and you will install a Grillguard, not only you have to cut into the “chrome plated plastic in the bumper” cut bigger holes in the tow hook area, and they dont offer a cut out version for the front camera, nor a sensor relocating kit.
