New Superlift Kit For Chevy Silverado HD, GMC Sierra HD Adds 6 Inches Of Height

Louisiana-based aftermarket suspension developer Superlift has announced a new kit for the 2020 Chevy Silverado HD and 2020 GMC Sierra HD. The latest lift kit adds an extra six inches to the heavy-duty pickups’ ride height – enough to clear 37-inch diameter tires.

The new lift kit is compatible with the 2020 model-year Chevy Silverado HD and 2020 model-year GMC Sierra HD, including both 2500HD and 3500HD models.

The kit includes a “No Drop” torsion bar bracket that places the bar in the factory location, helping to maximize ground clearance with the new suspension lift. The kit also comes with CNC machined steering knuckles and heavy-duty lower control arm crossmembers to ensure the truck’s alignment settings stay within spec.

Meanwhile, the lift in back is accomplished thanks to a heavy-duty fabricated rear block. “The primary axle u-bolts are captured in the upper and lower plates with the secondary u-bolts attached to the OE leaf spring to reduce pinion wrap,” Superlift states.

Out back, buyers have the option for either Shadow Shocks components, or Bilstein 5100 Series shocks. The only front shocks offered are Bilstein’s 5100 Series.

Superlift’s new kit for the Chevy Silverado HD and GMC Sierra HD includes new steering knuckles, torsion bar brackets, belly pan, crossmembers, front sway bar links, bump stops, rear block kit, and shocks to make it all work as intended, plus an instruction manual to do the install at home, if desired.

“All required parts are included to make sure your Silverado or Sierra handles and performs just like a stock truck!” Superlift says.

This six-inch lift kit is not compatible with dually models, nor is it compatible with the factory wheels. Aftermarket wheels with backspacing of at least five inches are recommended. The tuner also states that gas models may require modification of the exhaust in order to clear the front driveshaft.

Pricing starts at $1,530.
