With the debut of the new mid-engined C8 Corvette, tuners are racing to offer the latest and greatest upgrades, including new aero and body kits. Rocket Bunny/Pandem is among those with a hot new take on the next-gen Chevy superstar, previewing its latest aesthetics upgrade in a series of renderings revealed back in September, as GM Authority covered previously. Now, the first real-world example of a Pandem/Rocket Bunny C8 Corvette has arrived.

Shown in a series of images and videos posted to social media, the freshly upgraded C8 Corvette is utterly transformed, evolving the original factory look from every angle.
The front end stretches low to the ground, following the saw-toothed curves of the front fascia and extending it forward while also adding a few new curves.

The kit continues into the flanks, where the fenders are squared-off, tucking the new aftermarket wheels and Toyo tires under wide arches, dropping down into extended side sills. The squared fenders continue in back, leading to a broad spoiler that’s perched on top of the rear engine cover in a single, swooping form across the flat decklid. Finishing it all off is a diffuser-like lower element that enhances the quad-tip exhaust treatment.

You can’t make it look any worse for sure with the stubby noise and wide body from the factory it looks proportion challenged. It don’t sound good at all, but the TOYO Tires are SICK
Glad they finally built a mid engine, but really, it looks like a damn camaro. Im a vette guy and it dont look like a vette. . Sorry guys and G.M, it rates pretty low on my scale… I sure hope its fast.
It looks like a Camaro? WTF are you talking about??!?!?!
I get that someone might not like the appearance, I’m room temperature (just above luke warm) on it myself, but to say it looks like a Camaro objectively makes zero sense. You could have said it looks like a damn Silverado with every bit as much legitimacy.
As for this car, to each their own, but to me, it took a car already bordering on gaudy and added more gaud still. And maybe I’m just old, but I simply don’t understand the whole slammed to the ground thing. Can’t drive it that way, so it’s all for show when it’s sitting in a parking lot. I’m more of a form follows function type.
Wtf! It looks nothing like a Camaro. This would probably appeal to the Japanese market as it has that fast and furious feel. It would make a great drift car. D.K. rules.
The C8 is the most successful Vette ever and GM is now working on 2 shifts struggling to fill orders. And international markets haven’t even been opened up yet.
That sucking sound is the noise coming from the quickly depreciating C5 6 and 7 and their envious owners…🤣
Most previous Vette owners aren’t envious. In fact, I can’t think of a single one of us that didn’t get VIP early preview of the new one back in Q3 of last year.
I had a 2019 Stingray and I was worried it wouldn’t look right. Then I saw it in person. I preordered and took delivery of a conv 2020 over Labor Day (a year later ðŸ˜).
The only people hating on this car are those that can’t get one. Otherwise, they’d be posting on threads related to the car they do want.
Looks more than a bit overwrought. Just leave well enough alone. Nothing to see here. Move along now.
Does not look drivable on the street,
Beat me to what I was going to write: Can’t drive it on the street is what I was thinking too. If I could get out of my driveway apron, which is pretty flat, without bottoming out, I probably couldn’t get a dozen yards down the street here in pot holed Ohio. Those are some pretty serious ground effects indeed!
Anything is better than the production model. Seen several in the flesh and so far the thing just look’s dinky out the factory door. Chevy has work to do BIG TIME. As for the comment about C5’s.6,and 7’s. Most will prob be comfortable keeping them for awhile.
Come on man, how bout a manual trans!
Come on, man, how about a manual without synchros?!
Come on, man, how about an actual horse?!
Come on, man, how about mail delivered on a pony?!
Come on, man, how about outdoor plumbing?!
Come on, man, how about an actual icebox?!
At some point, the world moves on. Manuals don’t perform as well. Use the paddle shifters if you want.
It heard a “clunk” every time it was shifting in the video. Wth is up with that? Not sure what I think about the air-ride suspension either. It’s already so low to the ground, I’m a little over 6’1″, are you supposed to lean over and crawl out of it after you park and drop it to the ground? Looks cool though.
That body kit screams “Ricer”! Great way to make a beautiful car look cheap! Oh yeah, and ignorant. Please describe one trip, anywhere in the world, where you wouldn’t destroy it. I couldn’t make it out of any driveway I’ve ever been in without ripping something off.
Looks pretty ugly. Still burns gas. How about electric guys?
Looks like a C8 had sex with a Vector and this is the outcome. Ugly and useless unless you own your own racetrack
