Classic Chevy Muscle Cars Pair Perfectly With Roadster Shop RS5 Wheels: Video

Finding that perfect set of rollers to complement your ride is never a simple decision, but now, Roadster Shop is offering up a great new option with its latest Forgeline RS5 wheel line. Rocking an old school cool five-spoke design, the new RS5 wheels pair perfectly with classic Chevy muscle cars, as evidenced in the following brief video.

Clocking in at a little over a minute and a half, this new video shows the new Roadster Shop RS5 wheels strapped with fresh tires and mounted onto a trio of classic Chevy muscle cars. With a timeless design and gray finish combined with a polished rim, the new RS5 wheels look great on these iconic Bow Tie brand machines, no matter if the car’s exterior paint finish is done in orange, teal, or black.

“Designed in collaboration with Forgeline, the RS5 offers a retro five-spoke design reminiscent of the iconic 1960s mag wheel and even includes period-matching machined bolt-on ‘flat cap’ center cap to complete the authentic vintage vibe,” Roadster Shop explains.

The new RS5 wheels are three-piece rollers with a forged 6061-T6 aluminum center and heat-treated rim. In addition to the machined bolt-on “flat cap” center caps, the wheels are also offered with Roadster Shop-specific Modern and Classic caps, if desired.

The latest Roadster Shop RS5 wheel is available in 18-inch, 19-inch, and 20-inch diameter sizing, with “fully customizable” fitment and finish. Further standard features include a powder-coated center section and polished outer rim. There’s also plenty of clearance to accommodate any number of popular big brake packages, as evidenced by the plus-sized calipers and drilled/slotted rotors seen on the classic Chevy muscle cars featured in the following video.

Pricing starts at $1,795, per the Roadster Shop website.

  1. Nice-looking wheels, but at more than twice the cost of a set of American Torque Thrusts—of which the RS rims are an obvious knock-off—I’ll pass.
