Florida-based wheel manufacturer Vossen has released a new video showing its Hybrid Forged HF6-4 wheels on a 2019 Chevy Silverado Trail Boss.
Many of Vossen’s wheels are better suited to street trucks, as it demonstrated with the lowered Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra it featured on its YouTube channel recently. The company also makes wheels suitable for off-road trucks like the Chevy Silverado Trail Boss, however, such as the HF6-4. The company says the HF6-4 was “manufactured specifically for the truck and SUV market,” and as such, the wheel is built to withstand the added load from a heavier vehicle and some light off-roading.
The Chevy Silverado Trail Boss in this video has Gloss Black finished Vossen HF6-4 wheels wrapped in Mickey Thompson Baja Boss tires. The HF6-4 is available in a total of 12 finishes, including Gloss Gold, Gloss Silver, Satin Silver, Satin Bronze and more. The wheels start at $599 apiece.
This truck also has other slight modifications, including a matte beige exterior vinyl wrap. This color is reminiscent of the Sand Dune Metallic color available on the 2021 Chevy Colorado, although it has a matte finish instead of a metallic/gloss finish. The truck also has contrasting black door handles, badges and other accents to match its aftermarket gloss black wheels.
The Chevy Silverado Trail Boss is available as either a Trail Boss Custom or a well-equipped Traill Boss LT. The Trail Boss trim level includes the Z71 off-road package, a two-inch factory suspension lift, Autotrac two-speed transfer case, 18-inch gloss black wheels and Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires. The Custom Trail Boss can be ordered with a GM 4.3L LV3 V6, GM 5.3L L84 V8 or GM 6.L L87 V8, while the LT Trail Boss is only available with the 5.3L or 6.2L V8 engines.

This looks like a custom color? I hope they add some more colors for the 2022 update. Their color choices are a bit typical these days.
What is GMA’s love for this brand of wheels? Seems like every week they’re promoting a different Vossen (a company I’ve never heard of) wheel a different GM product. Why not any other manufacturer? Is this just an advetorial – paid psuedo “news” piece?? If so, how many other GMA “news articles” are actually paid advertisements???
