Chevy‘s 2021 Silverado Carhartt Special Edition has been priced at $3,585. However, the actual cost to customers will be higher for the familiar reason that the package requires several extras.
The starting point for the 2021 Silverado Carhartt Special Edition is a 2021 Silverado 2500HD Crew Cab in the LTZ trim level with four-wheel drive and either the Standard Bed or the Long Bed. The Carhartt package is not available for any other 2021 Silverado HD configuration.
The optional Carhartt Package also requires the Mosaic Black Metallic paint and five other packages, namely LTZ Plus Package (itself a combination of the LTZ Convenience and Safety packages), LTZ Convenience Package II, Safety Package II and Z71 Off-Road Package. The features included in these are as follows:
LTZ Plus Package
- LTZ Convenience Package
- Bucket seats with (D07) center console
- Heated and ventilated front seats
- Heated rear seats
- Rear sliding power window
- Universal home remote
- Power up/down tailgate
- Bed LED cargo area lighting
- Safety Package
- Front and Rear Park Assist
- Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert
- Rear Cross Traffic Alert
LTZ Convenience Package II
- Chevrolet Infotainment System with Navigation and eight-inch diagonal color touch screen
- Bose Premium Audio System
- Bed View Camera
- HD Surround Vision with Two Trailer View Camera Provisions
- Wireless charging
Safety Package II
Z71 Off-Road Package
- Off-Road suspension with off-road tuned twin tube Rancho shocks
- Hill Descent Control
- Skid plates (transfer case and oil pan
As a result of these required additions, turning a 2500HD Crew Cab LTZ 4WD into a 2021 Silverado Carhartt Edition will in fact cost $8,370, raising the price of the vehicle to $62,570 for the Standard Bed model or $62,770 for the Long Bed, not including discounts, allowances or the $1,595 destination freight charge.
These prices assume that the truck is fitted with the standard 6.6L L8T V8 gasoline engine rated at 401 horsepower and 464 pounds-feet of torque, and mated to GM’s heavy duty six-speed automatic transmission. 2021 Silverado Carhartt Special Edition models with the optional 6.6 L5P V8 diesel Duramax engine rated at 445 horsepower and 910 pounds-feet of torque plus the ten-speed automatic gearbox will cost $72,460 for the Standard Bed or $72,660 for the Long Bed.
The information above applies in all states other than California, where the 2021 Silverado Carhartt Special Edition is one of several Silverado HD and GMC Sierra HD models which can not be sold there due to legislation regarding amber-colored, roof-mounted clearance lights.

I’ll take 5, will they be available in 5 years like Mary’s Lectrics?
Oh the sarcasm. Yes, they’ll be available. They’ll be even better in five years, too.
Carhartt? I’ll take an AMC with the Levi’s package.
These photos show how incompetent GM marketing team is. They unveiled Sierra HD with the most undesirable press photos ever that taken with fisheye lens that made the vehicle look terrible, even i was disgusted with it. But now i see decent photos of it as seen in this page and actually they’re perfectly fine looking, but damage has done and thousands of potential customers walked away for other brands.
