2021 Chevy Silverado HD Carved Out Of Wood: Video

Earlier this year, we came across a talented woodworking YouTuber who managed to make a realistic replica of the Cadillac presidential limousine out of a block of wood. That project left us very impressed, but now the same artist has produced an even more jaw-dropping creation after carving a 2021 Chevy Silverado HD Carhartt Edition out of wood as well.

While the attention to detail on the aforementioned Cadillac presidential limo wood carving was very high, this 2021 Chevy Silverado HD Carhartt Edition carving is even more stunning. The artist, who goes by Woodworking Art on YouTube, really goes the extra mile on this carving, giving the model a highly realistic front fascia, colored taillights and turn signal markers, a working hood, carved V8 engine bay, working tailgate and even working windows. He even bothers to carve items that can’t be seen when the model is fully assembled, like the radiator and spare tire.

We’re also impressed that the artist didn’t gloss over the fact that the pictures he modeled his wood carving out of were of the 2021 Chevy Silverado HD Carhartt Edition. As such, he even gives his scale wood truck Carhartt door and tailgate logos and the same yellow waistline accent as the production truck.

The 2021 Chevy Silverado HD Carhartt Edition debuted at last year’s SEMA Show and is the result of a collaboration between Chevy and the Detroit-based workwear company. In addition to the yellow exterior accents and Carhartt badges, the limited-edition truck also features Carhartt interior logos, unique 20-inch alloy wheels with all-terrain tires and four-inch black assist steps.

Check out the video embedded below to see the limited-edition Chevy Silverado 2500HD Carhartt Edition recreated as an impressive wooden carving.

  5. Lignin is a non-digestible compound made of of phenols (aromatic alcohols) and other molecules. It is not a carbohydrate, but is considered an insoluble fiber. It is found in the cell walls of vascular plants and in seeds; thus, it may be possible to actually design and build a next generation of vehicle from trees.
