Watch A Saturn Ion Wipe Out A Stop Sign: Video4
Driving in parking lots can be a stressful situation. From speeding through junctions, running stop signs, backing out without looking to countless other driving offenses, some folks seem to just throw all caution to the wind the minute they leave a legitimate laneway and enter a parking lot. This Saturn Ion driver, who was recently filmed on a dashcam wiping out a stop sign in a parking lot is the perfect example of the type of person who should probably take a bit more care when driving in tight car parks.
The car with the dashcam equipped was exiting the parking lot in question when the red Saturn Ion enters the frame and advances into the lot. The driver then makes an extremely wide left turn, but despite the rather large radius of the left hander, they wipe out a stop sign affixed to a cement sign block that was sitting on the corner of the four-way junction. The Saturn driver, seemingly unphased, continues on their way after striking the sign with considerable force, while the cammer audibly gasps as the admittedly horrendous display of driving he’s looking at.
Private parking lots are not subject to all jurisdictions’ road rules, which can complicate matters when a crash or some other type of accident occurs in a parking lot. We’re glad this reckless Saturn Ion driver only hit a stop sign and not another car, but something tells us it’s only a matter of time before they sideswipe someone if they always drive so carelessly. This little incident appears to have happened somewhere in Quebec, Canada, judging by the French language stop sign and North American-style roads, so you may want to try and avoid red Saturn Ion drivers, Quebecers – they seem a bit reckless.

If the stop sign says “arret,” it has to be Quebec. They say “stop” in France since it is considered a valid French word.
if that sign placement and construction is up to canadian code, i’d be shocked. it looks like something you’d see in india.
No surprise. See people do idiotic things all the time, parking lot and on the highway.
It’s hard to say
