The all-new 2021 GMC Yukon has been completely re-engineered from the ground up, and represents the fifth generation of the Yukon nameplate. Now riding on GM’s T1 platform, the revamped SUV offers first-in-class, available four-corner Air Ride Adaptive Suspension as well as an available Active Response 4WD System, an all-new interior and exterior design, and a total of ten exterior colors, four which are new: Hunter Metallic, Pearl Beige Metallic, Midnight Blue Metallic, and Cayenne Red Tintcoat. Assigned color code GSK and touch-up paint code WA-252F, Cayenne Red is the only bold hue available for the 2021 GMC Yukon.
Pricing
The new Cayenne Red color is not included in the base price of the 2021 GMC Yukon, and carries an additional charge of $645.
Availability
The new red hue is available in conjunction with all interior color combinations and all 2021 Yukon trim levels, including the new Yukon AT4 model.

Launch Timeframe
Production of the 2021 GMC Yukon takes place at the GM Arlington plant in Texas. GMC previously confirmed that the 2021 Yukon will go on sale midway through the 2020 calendar year, and despite complications caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the first units started shipping in June. Therefore, 2021 Yukon units in the new Cayenne Red color should be available on some dealer lots, though supply may vary, so contact your local dealer for more information.

Can the 2021 yukon with 4WD be flat towed behind a motorhome? I need a vehicle that I do not have to trailer or put on a dolly. Previous 4WD could be put in neutral and flat towed. I have owned over 40 GM cars and now find it hard to buy new with the present transmissions.

FINALLY ! A color is available that is not dark . . . . dreary . . . . unimaginative. It expresses something instead of just blending in with the rest of the drab herd.
As for flat towing, would it be cheaper in the long run to put the Yukon on an open car trailer = worn out trailer tires are way cheaper than worn out SUV tires. A car trailer would cost less than a set of 4 tires. Also no wear and tear on all suspension parts.
What is the difference between the Chevrolet C8 Corvette’s Fire Mist Red and this Cayenne Red of the GMC Yukon as the two Red paint appear very similar.
c8 has unique color. this red is available on gmc, chevy and cadillac
