Chevrolet Releases ‘It’s Time’ Ad For Chevy Truck Month: Video

October is Chevy Truck Month, which means buyers can get a $1,000 accessory allowance with the purchase of a new Chevrolet truck or SUV, among other exclusive cash allowance deals and offers.

To promote this ongoing sales event, which ends on November 2nd, 2020, Chevrolet has released a new advertisement called ‘It’s Time’ giving customers a bit more background on what Chevy Truck Month is all about.

“It’s Chevy Truck Month. It’s deck building month. It’s toy hauling month. It’s explore new ground month. It’s the month to get things done,” the voiceover in the short 30-second ad says. “Make it your own and make every month Chevy Truck Month.”

The $1,000 accessory allowance is offered with the purchase of a new 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Crew Cab, 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD Duramax, 2021 Chevrolet Colorado, 2020 Chevrolet Suburban and 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe. This offer is valid on GM or associated brand accessories, though it excludes tax and installation.

In addition to the previously mentioned $1,000 allowance on GM or associated accessories, Chevy is also offering cash allowances on the same models for all of Chevy Truck Month. The automaker is offering $6,250 toward the purchase of a 2020 Suburban, along with a $4,750 allowance on the 2020 Tahoe. It’s also offering cash on the hood of its pickups, with $4,500 toward the 2020 Silverado 1500 Crew Cab, $3,500 for the 2020 Silverado 3500HD Duramax and $2,000 for the 2020 Colorado. These cash allowances are offered in addition to the $1,000 accessory allowance, though they cannot be combined with other offers/incentives in certain cases.

Customers have until early next month to take advantage of Chevy Truck Month Savings. In the meantime, Chevy fans can check out the promotional ad for this ongoing U.S.-only sales event embedded just below.

  5. Do you know how the Accessory Allowance is obtained.
I just bought a 2021 Colorado and they tried to tell me it was either the 2000 cash back or the Accessory Allowance. But on the Chevy page it says you get both.

I am not sure how do use the allowance.
