Chevrolet Malibu discount offers during October apply to 2020 and 2021 models. The automaker ceased all manufacturer-backed promotions for 2019 Malibu models during Q3 2020.
This month’s featured offer lowers the price of most 2020 Chevy Malibu trim levels by $2,750, and is nearly identical to last month’s incentive. Interested parties will be happy to know that the aforementioned offer is available to all buyers nationwide. Additionally, shoppers can take advantage of a less generous discount for newer 2021 Chevrolet Malibu models.
In addition to the cashback rebates, the Bow Tie brand is also offering a competitive, nationwide lease offer for the 2020 Malibu LT, with payments under $300 per month and $1,569 due at signing.

GM brain trust: “Let’s castrate all of our cars. Eliminate the V6 option. 4 cylinder engines only. CVT trans. Eliminate all sport options. Eliminate fun to drive. Then we can say, “No one buys cars anymore” and we can make only trucks and SUVs.
Hey Einstein,
Camaro, Mustang & Challenger sales are also falling. Your argument for a sportier version doesn’t hold water.
When will GM get to use the Civic/Accord platform for the Malibu and hopefully new Cruze.
I still hate that GM is not offering a Civic size sedan.
Agreed on your disappointment with Chevrolet having no Civic rival. Second gen Cruze lacked that swag to take on Civic or Mazda 3 but GM has so many C Segment options in China whether we’re taking Monza or the many Buick entries filling the segment. GM could have owed the Detroit/”American” C Segment space.
I like Malibu, a lot, but it would have been smarter to replace it with a reskinned and less expensive (C-Segment priced) Impala given its larger size, great quality, and solid ride. A reskinned Impala could have bested Altima and run even with Accord without living in rental lots.
I love the GM/Honda agreement because it means a future for quality Chevrolet and Buick cars. A full merger would be better
I think both your thoughts are in the clouds, GM proves they don’t need antiquated office transport for soon to be divorced cucks, Honka can keep their Tokyo garbage, the truck/SUV line is where it’s at. A rwd Malibu/Impala replacement reflects what truck buyers want in a real American car. Word is F-rd is putting out an rwd sedan for a sedan replacement, I’m sure GM is doing the same for Chevy.
gm/ford/fca has ceded the non-luxury sedan market to the koreans and japanese.
if trucks/suv is where it is at, why would gm invest in a rwd ICE niche sedan? makes no sense.
a reskinned accord/civic makes more sense if gm could do it on the cheap but even that seems to be a long shot.
Ford?, yes they’re out but they may return but more than likely with a Explorer/Mustang based sedan. FCA does the rwd cars with Grand Cherokee joining them on a new platform soon and GMs VSS-R will have CUVs. I wouldn’t say niche if the car platforms are married to the CUVs

I agree.
I wish GM does a full merge with Honda. It would be the perfect Portfolio fit for both.

I highly doubt there will be a next generation Civic or Accord.
honda has already said the next generation civic is coming out next year.
Why would you think a new Civic and Accord will not happen?
I mean you do realize the new Civic will be shown shortly correct?
The ONLY manufacturers giving up on Sedans are our Big Three.
FWIW, FCA just made official to keep 300 and Charger in production.
