Cadillac XT4 To Use 350D Badge In Europe

The Cadillac XT4 crossover just launched in Europe earlier this month, arriving overseas with a unique turbodiesel powertrain. Complementing the new oil burner is a special 350D badge added to the Euro-spec XT4’s trunk lid, indicating what’s equipped under the hood.
The engine in question is the turbodiesel 2.0L I4 LSQ, which was developed specifically for sale in Europe. Under the hood of the Cadillac XT4, the LSQ produces 170 horsepower and 280 pound-feet (380 Nm) of torque. As such, the XT4 comes with a special 350D badge, per the luxury brand’s latest naming convention, which indicates the vehicle torque in newton meters, rounded to the nearest 50, followed by a D for diesel engines, or a T for turbocharged gasoline engines. Naturally aspirated gasoline engines on come with the rounded torque figure, and do not include a letter.
For now, the only other diesel-powered Cadillac on offer is the all-new 2021 Cadillac Escalade, which will come with a 600D badge.
In addition to the LSQ turbodiesel engine already mentioned, the Euro-spec Cadillac XT4 will also offer the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine, which will come with the same 350T badge as models sold in North America.
Like the U.S. model, the Euro-spec Cadillac XT4 is offered in three trim levels, starting the base-level Luxury, and followed by the Premium Luxury and the Sport, per Cadillac’s latest Y-trim level structure. European buyers also have access to two special launch models, namely the Launch Edition and the Launch Edition Sport.
Pricing for the European Cadillac XT4 Launch Edition starts at 42,900 euros ($49,996 at current exchange rates, 10/29/2020), while the Launch Edition Sport starts at 49,200 euros ($57,338 at current exchange rates).
We’ll have additional interesting tidbits to share on the European Cadillac XT4 soon, so stay tuned. In the meantime, subscribe to GM Authority for more Cadillac XT4 news, Cadillac news, and around-the-clock GM news coverage.

They will sell 5 a year, and after 2 years they pull out again.
No need for dealers.
Btw, would you invest in a cadillac dealership that sells 0.5 car a year?
What is your „middle of Europe“?
I live in de middle of Europe which is Frankfurt and the nearest Cadillac service point is in town, in Hanauer Landstraße.
Same like Andrew, i live in Spain and the nearest Cadillac Dealer is at 450km from me!. 2 Cadillac dealers in all Spain! and 3 in all France, it is a joke
Drop a crate Chevy 350 CID V8 In this slug and install some Brembos, sticky tires, and an active suspension. Make this a cult car rather than an also-ran yawner. Make it a LEGEND!
I live in Saudi Arabia which is more the half of Europe and Cadillac was present for more than 60 years, yet we still have one dealer and one service center
