Between the mid-engine proportions and chiseled styling lines, the C8 Corvette has what it takes to turn heads on the street. Add in the right set of rollers, and that curb appeal jumps another notch, as evidenced in the following video.
The video is less than a minute long, and comes to us from BBS of America. For those that don’t know, BBS provides lightweight wheels to a number of different motorsport programs, including the Corvette C8.R GTLM team in the IMSA series. Now, BBS is offering up its CI-R wheel design for road-going versions of the C8 Corvette.
“The CI-R represents the unmistakable culmination of a successful Performance Line Program and follows a growing trend with its concave styling,” BBS states on its website. “The high-performance CI-R captivates not only visually with its distinctive, Y-spokes, but is also equipped with technical finesse that comes from the BBS Motorsport racing division.”
The BBS CI-R wheel can be seen in the following video as it rolls down the street on a new C8 Corvette Coupe. The video appears as though it was shot after some rain, with the car and pavement still a little wet, adding a glistening sparkle from certain angles.
“Thanks to our proven Flow-Forming technology and back-milled spokes, the CI-R is a lightweight wheel that reduces weight under the factory wheels including the optional factory upgrades,” BBS states.
All told, the new wheels are a nice complement to the aggressive and sporty C8 Corvette exterior design.
BBS is offering the CI-R wheel in four different finishes. The standard finishes are Platinum Silver and Satin Black, while the optional finishes are Bronze and Ceramic Polish. Wheel sizing includes 19 by 9 inches, and 20 by 11.5 inches.

Look great!
They look a lot like my 2002 Z06 factory wheels. You might get a buy from me.
Good look. What the cost?
These look good. I'm not crazy about the available factory wheels-too busy looking.
Agreed. I generally prefer the OEM look, but don't care for the wheel choices on the C8. These wheels look great on the car.
Forged and very nice..
I didn't know they were forged. I must have missed that in the presentation. AF I think these are great looking wheels and I'd choose the silver platinum. AF
I have found out that these wheels are not forged
