General Motors will offer a new bodyside decal kit for the 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer through its official accessories catalog.
The decal kit, referred to as the ‘Bodyside Decal Package’ and carrying Part No. 42614486 in the official GM Accessories catalog, features a geometric pattern that stretches from the rear part of the front quarter panel to just past the driver and passenger side door handles. The automaker says the decal kit “adds a personal touch to your vehicle” and is “made of durable materials to withstand weather elements.”
Four separate vinyl decals are included Bodyside Decal Package. The two smaller 15-inch decals form the beginning half of the pattern on the quarter panels, while the larger 47-inch pieces stick to the doors. This prevents the customer or dealership from having to cut the vinyl stickers around the opening for the two front doors. The kit costs $295.00 from the GM Accessories catalog and also comes with a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty.
Customers can choose to order the decal kit to their dealership for installation, or they can order it to their homes via FedEx and have a go at installing it themselves. The kit can also be ordered from a GM dealership at the time of purchase of a new 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer and will be installed at the dealership after it is delivered.
This black and grey decal kit should go well with the gloss black exterior accents and contrasting black roof that is available on the 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer. We could also see it being popular among customers who opt for the sportier Trailblazer RS trim level.
The 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer starts at $19,995 in the United States. The subcompact crossover, which is built at the GM Incheon plant in South Korea, comes standard with a turbocharged 1.2L LIH three-cylinder, while a turbocharged 1.3L L3T three-cylinder is available as an option. The 1.2L engine makes 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque, while the 1.3L is good for 155 horsepower and 174 pound-feet.

Who’s Chevrolet decal supplier Pep Boys
Throw on a set of flat-black rims, and the whole Pep Boys / Autozone picture falls into place.
/Now, where did I put that package of Little Tree air fresheners?
As a Chevy salesperson: why.
$285 of profit.
Well, now that’s just ugly.
It does not make it anymore a trailblazer that it already is not!
Take a picture of it with your cell phone and you get a ciupon, too.
STILL DOING DECAL PACKAGES LIKE 1973, HOW SAD.
Hundreds extra up front, hundreds reduced at trade-in. And, as someone above said: Pep Boys? And, as the Chevrolet salesman asks: why?
A word came to mind that you don’t hear much anymore: CHEESY. 😵
“Tacky” came to mind, but, yes: cheesy.
Coming from a 40-year business doing hand-painted pinstriping and graphics, this side thing just does not work There are other artsy graphics that would be more appealing, more marketable. If there’s one bit of psychologyI’ve learned in the personalization business, there’s a Heartbeat for anything.
At least nobody will be able to tell if you put it on wrong.
So when will Chevy provide a cross bar roof rack? That is a much needed accessory. Can’t carry kayaks with current Trailblazer.
Now that’s a good question!
