The 2021 Chevrolet Camaro adds a single new exterior color to its palette: Wild Cherry Tintcoat, which we managed to get a glimpse of following our initial report on the new Wild Cherry Package. And now, we have even more angles of the new deep red hue, courtesy of Chevy.
Pricing
The new Wild Cherry Tintcoat color is not included in the base price of the 2021 Chevrolet Camaro – which is unchanged compared to the 2020 model year – and costs an additional $495.
Availability
Assigned color code GSK and touch-up paint code WA-252F, Wild Cherry is one of two red hues available for the 2021 Camaro, along with Red Hot, which has been offered since the sixth-gen Camaro debuted in 2016. To Camaro faithfuls, the Wild Cherry hue may seem similar to the previously available Garnet Red Tintcoat option, which was deleted after the 2020 model year.
The dark red color option is available in conjunction with all trim levels and interior color combinations. Notably, Wild Cherry cannot be paired with Blue convertible tops.

That wild cherry tint is the color they need to offer for the corvette. I don’t like the Camaro but ordered a new corvette I love this Wild cherry tint.
Great new color…Reminds me of the Bolero Red color my 1967 SS/RS 396 Camaro Convertible had from the factory. It was a beautiful car.
Looks great, especially in 1LE form
how bout starting to beef up the performance packages so chevy camaros dont get left behind on the streets, color of the cars are nice but it’s power we want more than just a pretty color!
Correction needed: You’re missing LT1 as a trim level. And, 1LE is not a trim level.
Correction for your post. The picture is a 1SS with a 1LE performance package. Note the satin black hood, rear spoiler and front splitter that are part of the package.
I’m well aware of the 1LE option. I own an SS 1LE. Note that a 1LE package is an Option, not a Trim Level, which is the point of my post for the author.
The article incorrectly lists 1LE as a trim level while omitting the LT1 trim level. See below from the article.
2021 Chevrolet Camaro Trim Levels:

SteveZ28 – You are correct in the error of the author of articles listing of trim. Thanks for helping to set the article straight!
Now just add another 100 hp or more and I’ll buy one
They should make that color available on the corvette.
The car would sell, if they advertised it. Hire the firm that does the Challenger ads.
This color is similar to my 5th gen. 2015 Crystal Red Tint coat 2SS 1LE.
Is this color darker than the Crystal Red Tint???
