Cadillac XT6 Midnight Edition Arrives In The Middle East

General Motors just announced that a new special edition Cadillac XT6 has arrived in the United Arab Emirates. The unique new crossover is dubbed the Cadillac XT6 Midnight Edition, and is exclusive to the UAE market with a variety of aesthetic upgrades to help set it apart from its more commonplace brethren.

Created in collaboration with Cadillac’s local UAE partner, Al Ghandi Auto, the new Cadillac XT6 Midnight Edition is based on the Premium Luxury trim level, and includes unique 20-inch black aluminum-alloy wheels and wheel nuts, black mirror caps, a black grille treatment, black door handles, black-painted bumpers, and 3M Crystalline window tint, as well as Zilon black paint protection.

As an added bonus, the Cadillac CT6 Midnight Edition also comes standard with the Cadillac Premium Care plan, which will help “to keep the special vehicle in optimum condition” with a complimentary initial maintenance visit, including an oil change and oil filter change, tire rotation, and multipoint inspection. UAE customers can also opt into the Premium Care Plus package, which expands the offer to a five-year warranty, plus roadside assistance and additional service and maintenance.

Providing motivation in the new Cadillac XT6 Midnight edition is the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LGX engine, which produces 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. The ‘six connects to the nine-speed automatic transmission with Electronic Precision Shift Technology, and drives the front wheels as standard, while AWD is an available option.

“The XT6 Midnight Edition is unmistakably Cadillac,” said the CEO of Al Ghandi Auto, Mark Jenkins. “We understand that our customers in the UAE always like to push boundaries when it comes to styling cues and personalization, this special edition model adds an abundance of character to an already sought-after luxury SUV.”

  2. Really getting tired of the non-stop blacked out packages and midnight editions on everything. What ever happened to the true special edition packages with unique interiors and colors, special features, badges and trim? IMO, all these blacked out packages just shows the lack of creativity any more. Huge pass.

  3. Black. What a perfect choice for a country with 400 days of sunshine per year and an average temperature approaching that of the surface of the sun!
