Earlier this month, General Motors released a fun template that allowed Chevrolet fans to create their very own 2020 Corvette out of folded printer paper. At the time, the automaker indicated the papercraft Corvette was to be the first in a series of paper Chevrolet vehicle models that it would release in the coming weeks and we’re happy to report that it has now released the second of these fun home craft projects.
Fans can now also create a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado papercraft model after Chevy released the template this week. The template is based on the 2020 Chevrolet Silverado RST with the available GM 3.0L LM2 inline-six turbo-diesel Duramax engine and can be printed out in three production exterior colors:Â Cajun Red Tintcoat, Silver Ice Metallic and Northsky Blue Metallic.
“This papercraft model brings the sleek yet muscular design of the 2020 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck right to your desk, coffee table, or wherever you have paper, scissors, and a little creativity,” the automaker said in a statement on its website. “Your papercraft creation captures the Silverado’s tough, functional shape in paper, complete with its roomy cab and spacious cargo bed.”
Building the 2020 Chevrolet Silverado papercraft model is simple. Designed as a project for parents to complete with their kids, the only tools required are a printer, scissors and glue or tape. All that’s required is to download and print out the template in one of the three available colors, cut and along the indicated lines and tape or glue the figure together. Fans are also encouraged to stage a miniature photoshoot of their papercraft 2020 Chevrolet Silverado models and share the photos on their preferred social media channels using the hashtag #ChevyLove.
