The Buick Encore GX first hit the scene for the 2020 model year, slotting in as a new “subcompact-plus” crossover to occupy the spot between the subcompact Buick Encore and the compact Buick Envision. Now, a variety of new Buick Encore GX accessories is opening up availability, joining a long list of accessories already on offer.
The fresh Buick Encore GX accessories set to arrive in the near-term include new Body-Side Moldings, Illuminated Door Sills, and a Trailering Package, all of which are slated for the September / October timeframe, with pricing undetermined as of this writing.
We covered the new Buick Encore GX Towing Package in a previous post, outlining how it includes a new accessory hitch that enables the crossover to tow up to 1,000 pounds (453 kg), making it a good option for something like a jet ski. Installation of the new 2021 Buick Encore towing package is thought to be similar to the Trailering Provisions package offered with the 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer.
The latest Buick Encore GX accessories also include a new Sport Pedal Kit and Roof Cross Rails, both of which are currently unlisted on the Buick configurator. However, pricing for these accessories comes in at $165 for the Sport Pedal Kit, and $255 for the the Roof Cross Rails, with availability for both previously opening up in the July/August timeframe.
The rest of the Buick Encore GX accessories were available at vehicle launch. Note that the accessories listed in the table below can be added to both the 2020-model-year and 2021-model-year Buick Encore GX.

As a reminder, the Buick Encore GX rolls on the VSS-F vehicle set, and offers two engine options – the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LIH, which makes 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque, and the turbocharged 1.3L I3 L3T, which makes 155 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque. Both FWD and AWD are offered, with production for the North American market taking place at the GM Bupyeong plant in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon, South Korea.

What about the price for Automatic Parking Assist with Braking or Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning and Adaptive Cruise Control as these items are attractive features which make the 2020 Buick Encore GX competitive with other CUV.

Me too!! It was part of my purchase deal that the dealer install them but still a year and a half later there are none??? I even emailed Lund and they told they have not manufactured them as of now but to check back in the summer. That was last year! I really miss having them and I wish that they would be available already.
Everyone who has purchased a 2020 Encore GT & newer should be notified as soon as the rain guards become available. Why have they not already been created since so many of us have been searching for them. I would never have traded in my 2016 Encore if I had known about the non existent GT rain guards.
I did get them. From my dealer. Brand is Lund. They are the kind that affix to the side but have chrome on them. They are not in channel models. They don’t make those for 2020 encore gx. But I’m happy with mine.
