The 2021 Chevrolet Suburban offers a total of nine exterior colors, four of which are new: Cherry Red Tintcoat, Midnight Blue Metallic, Graywood Metallic, and Empire Beige Metallic. Here’s our first look at the new Empire Beige hue.

Assigned color code GJW and touch-up paint code WA-317E, Empire Beige Metallic is one of six neutral color options available for the 2021 Chevrolet Suburban, along with Satin Steel Metallic, Shadow Gray Metallic, Black, Graywood Metallic, Iridescent Pearl Tricoat, and Summit White. Buyers looking for a vibrant color will be disappointed, as Cherry Red is the only one offered.
Pricing
The new Empire Beige Metallic color is included in the base price of the 2021 Chevy Suburban. Notably, all exterior color options for the new Suburban are included in the price, except for Iridescent Pearl Tricoat, which costs an additional $995, and Cherry Red Tintcoat, which adds $495 to the price tag.
Availability
The new beige hue is available in conjunction with all trim levels and interior color combinations.

Launch Timeframe
Production of the 2021 Chevrolet Suburban has begun at the GM Arlington plant. Chevrolet previously confirmed that the 2021 Suburban will go on sale midway through the 2020 calendar year, despite complications caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, and dealers now have units of the 2021 Suburban in the new Empire Beige Metallic color in stock.

Oh Goodie ! Another dull and boring color.
It’s not dull and boring.
Metallic Beige is shiny and boring.
The real name for the paint is Camry Beige Metallic.
Oh Boy, another shade of grey. They’ll get to 50 shades of grey yet. What ever happened to “real” colors like Blue, Green, or Red? Yeah, I can see a Suburban in racing burnt orange isn’t exactly the right choice – but fifty shades of grey – come on?

Had hoped to get a 2021 ‘Burb with Black Cherry Metallic offered in 2020…guess I’ll wait until next year…
I dig it, think it will be a popular color. It’s almost a pewter, now show white pearl tricoat the door.
