The all-new mid-engine Corvette made huge waves when it was revealed on July 18th, 2019. When C8 production began in February, Chevy had some customers canceling orders of the current-generation model. The automaker responded by offering generous incentives, including a nearly-$9,000 Chevrolet Corvette discount in February, which was a bit less generous than the $12,000 discount offered in December 2019.
Notably, Chevrolet Corvette discount offers have since become much less worthwhile. This month’s featured offer – which gives buyers a $3,250 cashback rebate – will seem familiar to shoppers who have been keeping any eye on incentives for the last of the front-engined Vette models.
Interested buyers should know that GM has delayed production of the 2021 Corvette until Monday, November 2nd, several months later than the original start date of September, essentially giving the current 2020 model year an extra two months of production.
The Incentives
The nationwide 2019 Chevrolet Corvette discount offer in August 2020 is as follows:
- Purchase Offer: $3,250 cash allowance
To clarify, the offer will remain valid through August 31st, 2020. Additionally, the above incentives should apply to any 2019 Corvette, including the Stingray, Stingray Z51, Grand Sport, Z06, and ZR1. We recommend checking in with your local dealer for confirmation.
Furthermore, General Motors has extended its offer for special vehicle discounts for first responders and healthcare workers on the frontlines of the battle against the COVID-19 coronavirus until the end of September.
For reference, here are 2019 Corvette trim levels and their corresponding starting MSRPs, $1,095 destination freight charge included:
- Stingray 1LT – $56,995
- Stingray 2LT – $61,450
- Stingray 1LT w/ Z51 – $61,995
- Stingray 2LT w/ Z51 – $66,450
- Stingray 3LT – $66,740
- Stingray 3LT w/ Z51 – $71,740
- Grand Sport 1LT – $66,995
- Grand Sport 2LT – $71,450
- Grand Sport 3LT – $76,740

- Z06 3LZ – $90,940

As such, the headline-making Corvette discount offer lowers the starting price of the 2019 C7 model to $53,745.

How about having GM Cadillac provide a pamphlet for the new Escalade information center on how to operate all the
new features available on the 2021 Escalade before delivery , in order to drive off with confidence even though the dealer will
give one a run down on how operate the system
I have ordered a 2021 Escalade with delivery expected in November
I took delivery this past Friday 8/14 for my 2020 corvette. What about the rebate for me?
I took delivery of my 2020 corvette this past Friday, 8/14/20. What about my rebate.
I took delivery on July 29th of my 2LT 2020 Stingray. Where is my rebate?
It’s time for collectors to grab the new C7 Corvettes while they’re still available because once they’re gone, they’re gone forever because it’s a C8 Corvette world.
No rebate ? Probably because 60,000 people want the 20,000 C8 models that might get built before Nov 2nd. They were practically giving away C7s when I got my last of the few manual 2019s in October. $13k and change off was a no brainer. Supply and demand, economics and capitalism are wonderful. Feel sorry for people that are paying over mfg retail price for a mass production car.
