2021 Chevrolet Camaro Configurator Goes Live

The online configurator for the 2021 Chevrolet Camaro has officially launched, allowing prospective customers to outfit their very own version of the sports coupe, get a price estimate and, if they are interested, connect with a local dealership with regard to purchasing the car.

GM only applied very minor changes to the 2021 Chevrolet Camaro. The most notable addition to the coupe’s options list for 2021 are the two Wild Cherry Design Packages. These two packages (simply called Wild Cherry Design Package 1 and 2) come with cosmetic add-ons such as black metallic hash mark stripes, 20-inch polished five-spoke wheels, Camaro logo center caps, premium carpeted floor mats and, of course, a Wild Cherry Tintcoat exterior color, among more. The packages start at $2,145, but pricing varies from one trim level to another, and in some cases, must be combined with other option packages as well.

Other noteworthy changes for the 2021 Chevrolet Camaro include the addition of the 10-speed automatic transmission to the SS 1LE Track Performance Package, which previously was only offered with the six-speed manual, and the addition of standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Two exterior colors, Garnet Red Tintcoat and Rally Green Metallic, also leave to make way for the aforementioned Wild Cherry Tintcoat hue. Some other small adjustments were made to the available RPO-level equipment and the trim packages, which we covered in-depth in a previous article.

The Crush orange-painted 2021 Chevrolet Camaro LT1 pictured in this article is representative of the type of unique Camaro that can be made on the configurator. In addition the bright Crush exterior paint, this car also has Summit White Rally Stripes, the second-generation Ground Effects Package, optional 20-inch split five-spoke wheels and Ash Grey interior upholstery. We also threw on the lowering suspension upgrade system, upgraded sway bars, 6.2L strut tower brace and performance air intake.

  1. Unless something has changed for 2021 model Camaros, you configured a LT-1 Camaro, (see the SS style hood) which indeed comes with a 1LT interior. This car pictured is the 2021 entry level 6.2 V8 Camaro. You should know the meaning & the difference! My son’s 2017 RS, 1LT, V6, A8 , (yes , the latest flush fixed the shutter) and we love it! I know the difference in 1LT & LT-1 in a Camaro as we are enthusiasts. Don’t ask me to identify the different Cadillac sedans & SUVs by their confusing “names”!

  2. Also, looks like you added the RS package, now available for 2021 LT-1, but looks like you picture a leather interior which is 2 LT which I’m not sure is available with the LT-1. Maybe you just added the lip spoiler instead of the entire RS package. Confusing, isn’t it?

  4. Article calls it a 1LT which a cloth interior package when it seems to show leather. Never mentions it is a LT-1. Big difference.

  5. I don’t know why for the life of me Chevy is so afraid to give Camaro horsepower this is probably the reason why the Camaro sales has dropped dramatically because Chevy fails to keep up with Mustang and Dodge when it comes to horsepower

  6. Sorry😴 the camaro is just not that attractive from the inside to the outside. GM needs to change this body style and update it engines to more modern design.😆

  7. I traded a SCATPACK Challenger for a 2020 LT1. The LT1 is by far the faster car, dont get me wrong I loved my Challenger with a few mods added but just dont have the grunt as the 6.2. As far as the Mustang goes, havent had no issues nosing out few of them either but they are fast.

  10. Beautiful ride ! I had to get rid of my 13 because we had a child and a child seat does not work well in any muscle car . But now he is a tad older and I may get one of these in orange like I had next when my Equinox Redline lease is up by the way is an awesome vehicle just not a Camaro .
