Anthony Gozzo, owner of New Hampshire based automotive dealership Specialty Motor Cars, has a thing for full-size Cadillacs, Buicks and other domestic full-size sedans. He personally owns a number of full-size Cadillac and Buick coupes, sedans and wagons and makes a living selling low-mileage examples of these types of vehicles. So when Gozzo recently received a call from a friend asking if he’d be interested in purchasing two identical burgundy Cadillac Brougham sedans from a nearby collector, the answer was an unequivocal “yes.”
The cars in question are both finished in a two-tone burgundy and silver exterior paint scheme and feature burgundy interior upholstery. Both are also equipped with the optional 5.7L V8 engine, which was the most powerful engine available in the Brougham, and a four-speed automatic transmission. One of the cars had 55,000 miles on the odometer when he picked it up, while the other had 52,000 miles at the time of delivery. Both cars also came from the same family, who had them parked side-by-side in their two-car garage when Gozzo came to have a look at them.
Judging by Specialty Motor Cars’ website, one of these Cadillac Brougham sedans recently sold for $10,995. The other car will soon be listed for sale, it seems, as it is listed in the “coming soon” section of the dealership’s inventory page. We imagine Gozzo will have no problem at all giving the Cadillac Brougham a new home, though. These cars may not be worth a ton of money, but they have a dedicated following and can be hard to come by in good condition like this and with such low miles.
In addition to these Cadillac Brougham sedans, Specialty Motor Cars also has a number of other exciting GM vehicles coming into its showroom soon, including a 1978 Cadillac Fleetwood, 2008 Cadillac STS and 2003 Buick Park Avenue, among others.
