With a meticulous ground-up restoration and a laundry list of tastefully executed modifications, this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro pro-touring build is sure to please. Throw in the sinister color scheme, and it’s sure to turn some heads as well.
Outside, the dark color scheme belies the extensive work done to get this Chevrolet Camaro looking so clean and sharp. The bumper was smoothed and color-matched, while the Rally Sport grille and Rally Sport headlamps are blacked out. A custom chin spoiler sits below, while 18-inch BG Forged wheels occupy the corners. F2 mirrors, black door handles and tinted glass characterize the profile, while a custom decklid and rear spoiler are perched out back.
Black badging, black taillamps, and Satin Black trim were added as well, while the whole thing was coated in glossy black two-stage paint.
More black can be found in the Chevrolet Camaro’s cabin with the custom leather and suede upholstery, including the treatment for the Cipher Auto seats and Cipher Auto harnesses. Vintage Air A/C and a Kenwood stereo keep it modern. There’s also a fifth-gen Chevrolet Camaro console, leather-booted short-throw shifter, and a custom dash stuffed with a full suite of Autometer gauges.
This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro draws motivation from the 6.0L V8 LS2 engine, which produces more than 400 horsepower. Standout features here include a FiTech throttle body, an upsized cam, Dynatech long tube headers, and Magnaflow mufflers. Polished underhood dress-up adds to look.
The V8 connects to a Tremec T56 six-speed manual transmission, GM 12-bolt rear end, and Moser axles.
Naturally, the chassis and suspension were also upgraded, with custom coilovers, tubular control arms, and a Detroit Speed Quadralink rear setup helping it handle. Wilwood power disc brakes and 12-inch rotors at each corner haul it down. Finally, this Chevrolet Camaro rides on a whole lotta rubber, with BFG G-Force Rival tires sized at 275 in front and 335 in the rear.
Now, this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro pro-tourer is up for sale through RK Motors Charlotte for $139,900.
