The all-new 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8 is a ripper of a sports car, with impressive supercar-levels of performance on tap. However, the new Vette isn’t some stripped-down, bare-bones back-killer – this thing also has the right stuff to coddle those in the cabin, thanks to features like memory seat functionality. Now, a new Corvette Academy video highlights how the available 2020 Corvette memory seats work.
The video is less than two minutes long, but does a good job demonstrating how to use the 2020 Corvette memory seats, and their various features.
Operation is simple. First, make sure the car is turned on and in park, then adjust the driver’s seat position, the steering wheel position, and the sideview mirror positions as desired. Once everything is where it should be, press the Set button located on the door panel.
After you hear a beep sound, release the button, and then immediately press and hold either the 1 or 2 memory button located underneath the Set button. This will map your preferred settings to that specific button. You should then hear two beeps sound, indicating that the settings have been mapped to that button.
Additional 2020 Corvette memory seat settings can be used to ease ingress and egress. Below the 1 and 2 memory buttons is a fourth button that shows an open door. This is the exit memory button, and can be used to store settings that move the seat and steering column to a more favorable position for entering and exiting the vehicle.
The same steps can be repeated to store 2020 Corvette memory seat positions for the passenger side. The settings can also be adjusted via the infotainment screen.
Additionally, the unique 2020 Corvette memory seat settings can be linked with either of the two remote key fobs. Each C8 Corvette comes with two key fobs, as distinguished by either a chrome crossed flag emblem, or a black crossed flag emblem.
