General Motors and GMC are offering 20 percent off of official brand accessories throughout the month of July.
GMC customers will be able to get a deal on a multitude of different accessories for their crossover, SUV, van or pickup truck in July. Official GMC accessories include different front fascia grilles, assist steps, floor liners, door sill plates, tablet holders and cargo section organizers.
Truck owners may also want to capitalize on the offer, as the brand’s official accessories line also includes bed protection products, cargo nets, tonneau covers and bed tool bexes. Performance products such as exhaust kits, brake upgrade packages and performance air intakes are also sold through the GMC accessories catalog.
Additionally, the GMC accessories line includes products from third-party companies like Napier, Lund and Thule, such as cargo roof racks, roof top tents and hardshell cargo carriers, among more. Storage solutions like this are available for virtually all GMC models.
GMC says there is a minimum purchase required to qualify percentage offer. Customers will receive 10% below the MSRP with purchase of an item worth $100 or more, 15% below MSRP with a purchase of $250 or more and 20% below MSRP with purchase of $500 or more. Most customers will qualify for the 20% off, then, as many parts in the catalog cost well over $500.
All official GM accessories are “covered for the balance of the new vehicle’s warranty or 12 months / 12,000 miles, whichever is longer.” That means that unlike aftermarket parts bought from a third-party store, these parts are covered by the standard factory warranty that comes with all GM vehicles, giving the buyer some extra peace of mind when purchasing.
GM also points out that all of its official accessories “are designed, engineered and tested by the same team that developed the vehicle,” in the first place.

20-percent off official accessories isn’t a lot of money as it wouldn’t encourage me to buy accessories unless there wasn’t any other cost effective option.
I wish GM and othe manufacturers would move to a fixed price system similar to Tesla, no discounts and everybody pays the same price. You never really know if your getting a good deal or not at traditional dealers
