Check Out The 2020 Corvette Storage Features: Video

Despite its new mid-engine layout, the 2020 Corvette still comes with loads of space for cargo. Now, the various 2020 Corvette storage features are outlined in the following Corvette Academy video.

Outside the cabin, there are two cargo storage areas, including the front trunk, or “frunk,” and underneath the rear hatch. Access to these areas is possible via hidden touchpads on the new C8’s exterior, with the frunk touchpad located underneath the uppermost portion of the grille on the driver’s side. Meanwhile, the rear trunk is accessible via a touchpad just above the license plate. The key fob also provides buttons to open these compartments, as do buttons located in the cabin.

The 2020 Corvette storage up front is surprisingly ample, with enough room to fit an airline-spec carry-on and a laptop bag.

The rear hatch also provides loads of space, with enough room to fit two sets of golf clubs, or the C8’s removable roof panel, as covered previously. Closing the hatch is easy – just lower the hatch down, and the Power Latch feature will automatically secure it.

There are even 2020 Corvette storage solutions inside the cabin. Press the touchpad located near the side air intake with the key fob on your person to enter the vehicle. Here, you’ll find a large glovebox just ahead of the passenger seat, as well as a dedicated smartphone holder located between the seats. There are further storage areas in the center console, door panels, and center armrest.
