The Chevrolet Tahoe full-size SUV is built exclusively at the GM Arlington plant in Texas. What’s more, the Chevy Tahoe has proven to be exceedingly popular in the Lone Star State, with roughly a third of Tahoe retail sales in Texas. With that in mind, it should come as no surprise that GM gives a hat tip to Texas by way of the Chevrolet Tahoe Texas Edition. But the question is this – what is the Tahoe Texas Edition?
Simply put, this special edition vehicle bundles together a few popular packages for the trim level on which it’s offered. The features of each Tahoe Texas Edition depends on the model year in question, but tends to include various convenience features (see below). The Chevrolet Tahoe Texas Edition also comes with unique badging to show off that Lone Star State pride.

Chevy & GMC is still out saling Ford & Cadillac All Brands is still out saling Lincoln, so go figure
It completely defies logic how the Texas Edition excludes ventilated/cooled front seats, yet it includes heated steering wheel and seats???
