The new mid-engine Chevrolet Corvette C8 comes with a long list of optional extras and personalization opportunities, including a variety of cabin colors. Now, General Motors has identified the most popular 2020 Corvette interior colors, per official sales percentages.
The list of the most popular 2020 Corvette interior colors comes from the Michelin NCM (National Corvette Museum) Virtual Bash, wherein prominent GM representatives provided an in-depth update on the new C8. Representatives in attendance included Chevrolet Corvette chief Tadge Juechter and Bowling Green Assembly Plant manager Kai Spande, with the topics covered including assembly facility safety precautions, production numbers, and a breakdown of take rates.
According to the presentation, Jet Black was the most popular of the 2020 Corvette interior colors, equipped on 28 percent of models produced thus far. Adrenaline Red was a close second at 25 percent, while Jet Black with Red and Natural tied for third place at 12 percent each.
As we covered previously, the Natural Dipped color can cause a glare on sunny days. The issue can be addressed using polarized sunglasses.
The presentation also provided a breakdown of take rates for the various seat belt colors, indicating Jet Black as the overwhelming favorite at 63 percent. Finally, the numbers show 14 percent of sales had two-tone interiors, while 16 percent had suede interiors.
In addition to listing the most popular 2020 Corvette interior colors, the presentation also listed off the most popular paint colors, and the take rate between the Coupe and the Convertible body styles.
Looking ahead, Chevrolet is working to fulfill a long backlog of 2020 Corvette orders, which accumulated as a result of delays resulting for the COVID-19 pandemic. Production of the 2020 Corvette has been extended towards the end of the year, with production of the 2021 Corvette expected to begin in November.

It’s got to be a convertible! I like the Sky Cool Gray with Shadow Gray exterior. As a second choice it is Neutral and Shadow. My 2020 CT6 is Shadow and Neutral so a matching set would be great. My C5 is Quicksilver and black…third choice for the C8.
I think your daily broadcasts are great. Very helpful for me in the 3000 status waiting for our torch red, natural dipped interior, yellow calipers, with Z51, carbon fiber top and other options.
Thanks for sending and the best to everyone producing GM cars and trucks!!!
Now, maybe we can get more than 3 color choices in the Suburban or Silverado. Oh, and whatever happened to just straight white interior color?
Black interior. I don’t want to deal with the glare.
An interior color selection would be nice, I don’t mean choice of a black and something else, I mean a real selection like white and white white and red or all red or all tan. Someone shouldn’t have to spend 80k or more get a a selection. It’s not just GM, it’s all vehicles. Want to buy a new pickup with carpet? Your choice is black, no matter what you are willing to spend, black. I hate that.
I love the natural and black two-tone interior with my Torch Red exterior.
What percentage of Corvettes are ordered and what bought from dealer stock?
I love the Zues BronZe exterior, but I don’t think I could live with it, at least not live with explaining to people every day why I got a bad@$$ brown.
I’d go Elkhart Blue ext, grey int with orange seatbelts. Kind of a Polestar vibe I know.
Then do orange brake calipers and maybe orange front splitter.
