The 2021 Chevrolet Suburban introduces an all-new, completely re-engineered and redesigned generation of the extended-length full-size SUV. Besides an all-new platform, a new exterior design, a new interior, plus a significant amount improvements and new features, the 2021 Suburban also adds four new exterior colors to its color palette: Midnight Blue Metallic, Graywood Metallic, Empire Beige Metallic, and Cherry Red Tintcoat. Here’s our first look at the new Cherry Red hue.
Details
Assigned color code GSK and touch-up paint code WA-252F, Cherry Red Tintcoat is the only non-neutral color option available within the 2021 Chevrolet Suburban’s nine exterior colors options.
Availability
The new Cherry Red Tincoat color is not included in the base price of the 2021 Chevy Suburban, and has an additional charge of $495. The color is available in conjunction with all trim levels and interior color combinations.

Launch Timeframe
After a delay caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, production of the 2021 Chevrolet Suburban will commence in June 2020 at the GM Arlington plant in Texas. We expect the very first units of the all-new full-size SUV to begin arriving on dealer lots during August-September timeframe. Availability will vary be dealer, so check with yours for complete details.

I so hope they fix that ugly slotted trim piece on the hatch for the 2022 model year. It would look so much better if it were solid and lower. And smaller. Or just gone.

I vote for “gone”. It continues to look like the design code for GM truck/SUV front and rear ends is “busy cubed”
Would be nice if they offered a darker shade of green.
An actual color! And, only 500 bucks! Meantime, down the street at the Ford agency, you can get red as a standard color. Same over at FCA I believe.
Not being an expert, one will need to tell me what is the difference between Cherry Red and Fire-Engine Red or even Corvette Red.
