Well, it’s a weekday ending in Y, so that means there’s probably something weird and shocking going on in Florida that’s about to get blasted across the Internet. As it turns out, that’s exactly what we have right here, with a driver who crashed a Cadillac Eldorado into a used car dealership.
As posted to Twitter by Madeleine Wright, a reporter for local ABC news affiliate WPLG, northbound lanes of NW 27th Avenue near NW 98th Street were closed this morning after a white Cadillac Eldorado barreled off the road, crashed through a chainlink fence, and collided with several parked vehicles at a used car dealership.
The northbound lanes of NW 27th Ave. near NW 98th St. are shut down because of a @Cadillac Eldorado that ran off the road, broke a fence and crashed into a used car dealership. The owner tells me 7 vehicles were damaged. I’m told the driver was taken to the hospital. pic.twitter.com/8zv6Q2h1me

According to Wright’s post, the Cadillac Eldorado damaged seven vehicles total at the dealership. The driver was taken to the hospital. The driver’s condition and possible injuries are unknown at this time.
Video of the scene at the used car dealership shows the Cadillac Eldorado resting on top of other vehicles. The rear glass is broken and the bumper and trim are falling off. Several of the vehicles around the Caddy look to be equally smashed and broken.
Local roads were reopened after the Cadillac Eldorado was towed away. “Now the cleanup begins,” Wright tweeted.

While the cause behind this crash is still unknown, there is some extra weirdness to add to the story. Surveillance footage of the crash indicates it occurred at around 5 AM local time this morning. The Cadillac Eldorado comes barreling into the parked cars at a high rate of speed, smashing the nearby vehicles in the process.
However, a few seconds after the crash occurs, a woman believed to be a passenger in the Cadillac comes walking out of the wreck and leaves the scene by hopping over a fence. Meanwhile, the driver was left behind.

Lady of the night…
My thoughts exactly. She was probably down lower than the driver “resting” her head in his lap. At just the moment it happened, he lost control in every way. Hmmm.
DNA sample available in the headliner.
lol
Passenger left the scene, driver stayed due to injury. Stolen car ?
A fine tribute to the Cadillac Dealership scene in the original “Gone in 60-Seconds”.
It’s Miami. Everything is possible but my money would be on S Florida’s favorite Quinella; Booze, Drugs, Sex and Stolen. What’s interesting is it’s an old Caddy not some Uber German missile. Maybe lifted from one of the old condos in N. Miami Beach
