Chevrolet’s 2020 Camaro receives various changes and updates that build on (or in some cases correct) the enhancements made to the refreshed 2019 Camaro. For the 2020 model year, Chevy’s legendary sports car offers a whopping 30 wheel options, with one-third of the wheel sets being new for the 2020 model year.
Of the 30 wheel choices, 5 are standard, 17 are factory upgrades, and 8 are LPO-level, dealer-installed options. Notably, 2020 Camaro wheel availability varies by trim level. For instance, the 18-inch, 5-split spoke Silver-painted aluminum wheels (SGE) are standard only on the base 1LS model, while the 20-inch Dark Graphite forged aluminum wheels (RTQ) are only standard on the Camaro ZL1.

Needless to say, the Bow Tie brand offers an ample selection of 2020 Camaro wheel choices from the factory. And while I might be biased, I’d have to say the forged aluminum black wheels for the ZL1 1LE model (PKJ) are the most appealing of the bunch.
Meanwhile, the Camaro is getting several small yet noteworthy changes and updates for the 2021 model year, which you can check out at this link: 2021 Camaro changes and updates.

Uh, unless my eyes are deceiving me, that is 21 wheel designs not 30.
I know you can get RQA in black but it’s not in those pics so I assume 9 are not shown? That’s my favorite design.
Wheel options vs. wheel designs.
GM will cut this back and then eliminate the Camaro. First comment will be no one picked 90% of the wheels so clearly customers dont want wheel choice, then since the Camaro is languishing…. you know the story. Its a shame, the Camaro deserves better… and not as an EV….
How bout 30 different front ends for all the fussy buyers that want it look different then the 5th gen
Just what the Camaro needed 30 choices of new wheels, A waste of money & time haha
The Camaro generates sales and profit. Your comment does not, making your comment the definition of a waste of time and money.
30 different choices, not 30 designs.
I find it funny that the folks over at Chevy don’t know why Camaro sales are on a downward trend. It has nothing to do with options. It’s just that the overall body design is mutating into some Honda-looking thing, along with some plain old ugly front end design choices , Let’s fix that first, shall we?
“I find it funny that the folks over at Chevy don’t know why Camaro sales are on a downward trend”…
How did you reach this conclusion? How do you know what they do or don’t know?
If you think that’s a honda looking car you are clueless. If anything is starting to go the way of the honda it’s the mustangs. If the camaro sales are down it’s because everyone wants the mid engine Corvette. I know my 2020 SS turns a lot of heads and I get a lot of compliments over most Mustang and Dodges that are turning out to be a dime a dozen.
Am I wrong in thinking this is a weird story because the 2020 Cam’s been out for a long time & all this info is available on the configurator?
Did you know there were this many wheel options? Because I own two Camaros and had no idea they offered so many so I appreciate this story very much.
great, 30 cheaply made wheels from China?
Looks like the same 5 spoke design reconfigured over and over. What a choice!
Is it just me, or does anyone else out there wonders why GM never offer the 355 hp 5.3 as an option. Maybe call it an RS?
Two reasons:
1. It’s more cost-effective to offer the 6.2L LT1 – which is a better engine than the 5.3 anyway. The only opportunity to offer the 5.3L in the entry-level V8 model that became the LT1.
2. Because the essence of RS is an appearance package, not a performance package:
https://gmauthority.com/blog/2020/05/heres-whats-included-in-the-chevrolet-camaro-rs-package/
At this point, the Camaro has the most model variants and engine variants, too… so it doesn’t need ay more. If anything, one of the two entry-level engines (either the 2.0T LTG or the 3.6L LGX) needs to go.
GM does make an RS package, but way make a 5.3 V8 making just 355 horsepower when the 3.6 V6 already makes 335 horsepower with a lighter motor.
I’d rather have a V8 than a six cylinder anyway. A V8 has a much better sound. V6’s sound like s##t.
I have a 2SS with GM performance exhaust.
So, if I understand this correctly, a Camaro buyer has a choice of about 20 different wheel styles on a car that is projected to be discontinued. But they refuse to offer a Chrome wheel of any design for the C8 Corvette, which is not being discontinued.
That makes no sense at all.
This Camaro generation is now in its sixth year of availability, so it has had wheel options added every year to reach this point. The C8 hasn’t even been out a year. There will be new wheels for the C8.
I ordered a 2020 just before the end of the model run but haven’t got it yet because of the cootie shutdown. I only had a choice of maybe 6 different wheel options. (And they all sucked). I went with the base wheels and plan to change them if GM ever makes the car. I’ve been waiting 10 weeks and they have now clue when it will be made. TPW 3)30 is all I can get as of yesterday.
GM is still building Camaros? Who knew?
Very slowly it seems…
Well, I can only hope that that they are built to last unlike the wheels on our 2017-19 Corvette Z06 and Grand Sport which Generous Motors just sweep us under the rug with all Mexican/Chinese junk that are literally cracking and warping and they have the nerve to say Oh gee you all must have hit pot hole’s!
Mexican/Chinese parts are as good as American made if that is what the buyer wants. Unfortunately many American manufacturers go cheap to save money.
Chinese/Mexican manufacturers can make excellent quality parts if that is what the buyer request.
So exactly when is the last year the Camaro is being made? For Us Camaro People That Actually Love Our Camaro’s. I’m on my 4th. Wouldn’t drive anything else. Thanks Lisa
Based on the fact that GM never advertises nor promotes Camaros in any way/in any media, I just assumed they had already discontinued that carline.
2023 last I read
30 choices of wheels and 2 interior color choices on most models with 3 on the leather seat equipped cars if you choose certain exterior color choices. Yeah sounds about right for today’s warped thinking!
