Aiming to incentivize sales affected by the COVID-19 virus, General Motors of Mexico decided to extend the preferential policy of ’employee pricing’ to all who are interested in acquiring a Chevrolet vehicle – its brand with the highest sales volume in the Latin country. This campaign will only be in force in June and is part of a comprehensive strategy to support Mexican customers in the midst of the pandemic.
Notably, GM claims that the special employee pricing promotion represents a significant savings on the suggested retail price of select Chevrolet vehicles, for those who either want to buy or lease a new car this month. Also, this new campaign for the Bow Tie brand offers multiple benefits and financing programs tailored to customer needs.
“We live in a challenging period in the country, and for this reason, we have decided to extend this benefit to all people who are interested in buying a new Chevrolet car, at special prices and with payment facilities,” said Vice President of Sales, Service and Marketing of GM Mexico, Juan Carlos GarcÃa, in a press release. “We are ready to help people find new ways,” he added.
The benefits of this program include exclusive discounts on select 2019, 2020 and 2021 model-year vehicles, a flexible financing plan through GM Financial that offers the possibility of deferring payments for 120 days, as well as various payment plans that integrate added values such as free insurance for one year, unemployment insurance, extended guarantee or bonuses.
In addition, the employee pricing program includes special plans for the OnStar connectivity and assistance service, such as a free 3 GB data package and specialized crisis health care for clients who request it. It is worth noting that this specific Chevrolet campaign cannot be combined with GM’s Heroes on the Move program launched in May, which offers a special 10% discount for healthcare personnel.
The company informs that the list of vehicles participating in the employee pricing for all campaign can be found on the Chevrolet Mexico website, where specific information on the terms and conditions of the program is also found. Like the previous incentives, this new program is available from both Chevrolet dealerships and online shopping platforms recently launched by the brand.

The Mexican people are just not buying the latest GM cars imported from China. I wonder why? Of course they don’t even buy the GM vehicles made in Mexico. They save those for America.
