Chevrolet Malibu Discount Cuts Sedan Pricing By $3,250 In June 2020

Chevrolet Malibu discount reduces the price of most 2019 trim levels by $3,250 during the month of June 2020. Additionally, Chevy is offering a $2,750 rebate for most 2020 models. Notably, the offers are available to all buyers nationwide.

In addition to the cashback rebates, the Bow Tie brand is also offering zero-percent financing for select 2019 models with no money down as a means to assist buyers who may be struggling due to the COVID-19 pandemic, though the automaker has reduced the length of the interest-free loan.

The Incentives

Nationwide Chevrolet Malibu discount offers during June 2020 are as follows:

  • Featured 2019 Malibu Purchase Offer: $3,250 customer cash
    • Excludes base L trim level
  • Featured 2020 Malibu Purchase Offer: $2,750 customer cash
    • Excludes base L trim level
  • Featured 2019 Malibu Finance Offer: 0 percent APR for up to 72 months for qualified buyers who borrow from GM Financial
  • Featured Lease Offer: $301 monthly for 39 months
    • Applies to 2020 Malibu LT
    • Ultra low-mileage lease with 10,000 miles per year
    • Eligible Current Lessees:
      • $0 first month’s payment
      • $0 down payment
      • $0 security deposit

All of the above Chevrolet Malibu discount offers are valid through June 30th, 2020. General Motors is also offering special vehicle discounts for first responders and healthcare workers on the frontlines of the battle against the COVID-19 coronavirus until the end of the month

About Chevrolet Malibu

The Chevrolet Malibu is a mid-size sedan sold in most markets where Chevrolet has a business presence. It is currently Chevrolet's second-largest sedan, in the U.S. and Canada, slotting above the subcompact Chevrolet Sonic and compact Chevrolet Cruze but under the full-size Chevrolet Impala.

The current, ninth-generation model was introduced in 2016. It rides on the GM E2 platform shared with the Buick Regal, Opel/Vauxhall Insignia, Holden Commodore NG, and the Cadillac XT4.

For 2019 - the fourth model year of the ninth-gen model - the Malibu received a midcycle enhancement, otherwise known as a facelift or refresh, that consists of revised exterior styling, a new Malibu RS trim level, a CVT transmission for L, LS, LT and RS models, a new infotainment system, a new 8-inch reconfigurable driver information center (DIC), LED headlamps on the Premier model, and various other new features.

  1. Great looks, should be on the CT4 chassis, rear wheel drive would appeal to me. Then a Malibu SS with the 2.7T or 3.0TT and I would be a buyer.
