Framed as a supercar capable of handling the daily drive, the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8 comes with a long list of customizable settings. However, getting everything just right every time a different driver climbs aboard can get really tedious, really quickly. As such, the 2020 Corvette memory settings can be configured to differentiate between various drivers, as highlighted in this short video from Corvette Academy.
The customizable 2020 Corvette memory settings include those for the seat position, sideview mirror position, and steering wheel position. There are also memory settings for the passenger seat, as well as separate settings for the seats when exiting and entering the vehicle. For models equipped with the available memory package, the seat entry memory settings are accessible through the vehicle personalization infotainment system menu.
Sideview mirror adjustments are made via buttons located on the driver’s side door. GM recommends folding the mirrors inward to “avoid damage.” Power folding mirrors are offered on 2LT and 3LT trims, as we covered previously. Owners can activate the power-folding feature by pressing the button located underneath the mirror position arrows on the door armrest. The mirrors can also be set to fold automatically when locked or folded remotely by holding the lock button on the key fob.
The 2020 Corvette memory settings are tied to individual key fobs. Simply walking up to the new C8 with a key fob in hand will activate the unique personalization settings specified for that key fob.
Personalizing the 2020 Corvette memory settings is a four-step process. First, turn the vehicle on. Then, adjust the available memory feature positions as desired, and press and release the Set button on the door. This should sound a beep. Finally, press and hold 1, 2, or Exit until two beeps sound.
More info can be found in the owner’s manual. Check out an overview of the 2020 Corvette memory settings in the video below.
