The GMC Yukon is receiving an overhaul for the 2021 model year, delivering a complete redesign and re-engineering. We’ve already covered this full-size SUV in much detail, telling you about all the different packages, pricing, towing capacities, and fuel economy. What we have yet to show you are the exterior colors for the 2021 GMC Yukon XL. Well, much like on the regular-length Yukon that we covered recently, there are a total of ten 2021 GMC Yukon XL colors to choose from.
Here they are all are, applied to the Yukon SLT trim level with the exception for Hunter Metallic, which is applied to the Denali model.

Satin Steel Metallic
Dark Sky Metallic
Pearl Beige Metallic
Midnight Blue Metallic
Smokey Quartz Metallic
Cayenne Red Tintcoat
Of the ten 2021 GMC Yukon XL colors, only one – Summit White – is included in the base price of the vehicle. The other nine colors carry extra-cost options, as follows:
- Onyx Black – $195
- Dark Sky Metallic – $495

These ten 2021 GMC Yukon XL colors are joined by five interior color combinations, which we will profile shortly.
Those keeping track should note that the Yukon offers more colors than its two corporate platform mates – the 2021 Cadillac Escalade that is offered in eight exterior colors and the 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe / 2021 Chevrolet Suburban that can be had in nine exterior colors.
The all-new 2021 GMC Yukon XL as well as its shorter brother, the 2021 Yukon, will go into production at the GM Arlington plant in Texas in June.
