A new GMC Terrain discount offers a $4,500 cashback rebate on most 2020 models during the month of May 2020. Additionally, a second, separate offer includes interest-free financing.
Interested parties should also note that this month’s offers are not exclusive to current competitive owners (otherwise known as current non-GM owners) or loyal GM owners.
The Incentive
Nationwide GMC Terrain discount offers during the month of May 2020 are as follows:
- Featured Purchase Offer: $4,500 customer cash
- Excludes base SL trim level
- Featured Finance Offer: 0 percent APR for up to 84 months
- Excludes base SL trim level
- Featured Lease Offer: $264 monthly for 39 months
- Applies to Terrain SLE FWD model
- For GM Employees and Eligible Family Members who are Current Lessees:
- Ultra-low mileage lease with 10,000 miles per year
- $0 first month’s payment
- $0 security deposit
- $0 due at signing
- Offer not valid nationwide, and was only observed in the Detroit market
Interested parties should note that the above offers will remain valid through the end of the month. Furthermore, until June 30th, 2020, General Motors is offering special vehicle discounts for first responders and healthcare workers on the frontlines of the battle against the COVID-19 coronavirus.
For reference, here are the 2020 Terrain trim levels and their corresponding MSRPs, $1,195 destination freight charge included:
- SL – $26,195 (excluded from this month’s incentive offers)
- SLE – $29,595
- SLT – $32,395
- Denali – $39,495
As such, the headlining GMC Terrain discount lowers the starting price of the 2020 SLE to $25,095, making it more affordable than the base SL model.

Hi everyone, I’m from Calgary, thanks for having me👍✌😄 …not sure how to navigate this site…I’m having a bit of a time doin’ so,
…anyways, i have a question; when did gm implement the ESS system? I’m looking at a Terrain possibly 2010 to 2017 as my ’02 Envoy blew the diff, i’m not sure ifn’ I like this ess, if I can turn of this feature great however at what cost right?!
